1. Beards are awesome, therefore keep it. Hope this helps.
2. £17.99 on PS3 or 360 until midnight tonight on Play.com.
3. I'd recommend Jacob's Ladder if you haven't seen it. Not a typical 'Nam film, but very good nevertheless. About a veteran's (Tim Robbins) attempt to reintegrate into society after returning from the war, but he starts seeing demons everywhere. Creepy and brilliant.
4. Best one not even posted yet...
5. That dickhead headline from the Mail after the 2008 World Player Of The Year Awards still makes me angry. 'THE BEST PLAYERS IN THE WORLD (AND XAVI)'
6. Yep, Resident Evil 4. Best game ever.
7.
8. Has anyone ever seen Sleepaway Camp? Early 80s summer camp horror which is good in the same way that Con Air and Face/Off are good. Also has the best ending of any film ever. It's all on youtube actually:
9. "The lads have this ridiculous idea that..." "Yeah it was me."
10. Well hot dog, we have a wiener. West Brom it was. Man City, Ipswich, West Brom, Derby. Good work, team.
11. It's good but it's not right. Scorers were: Owen (4), Baros (2).
12. It was the 2002-03 season, I'll give you that.
13. Mmmkind of. I think they were a newly promoted team at the time.
14. Yeah that was 7-0 or 7-1. One of Carragher's rare goals. Shame all of this pushes the useful stuff out...
15. Not Swindon, nor Coventry. Yep, second game of the season. So that's Ipswich, Man City and Derby. One more.
16. Yep, City in 1996. Same season they were relegated for playing out a 2-2 with us on the last day, I think. Rush's last game?
17. Ipswich was one, away in 2002. Hull we beat 6-1 last season so it doesnae count.
18. Having ruined my own trivia question on another forum... SSN was saying that Liverpool jointly hold the record with Chelsea for 6-0 wins in the Premier League era with four, but can you name the teams we beat?
19. Section_31 has beaten me to it. As much as I love the show, I'm not sure another season would be a good idea. I thought it all wrapped up pretty perfectly. Simon seems to have moved on anyway, with Generation Kill and Treme, neither of which I've seen much of yet.
20. There won't be. David Simon planned the 5 season arc from the start. There's an interesting book I'm reading called The Wire by Rafael Alvarez which covers all 5 seasons and contains the email David Simon sent to the HBO executives pitching the show, which is an interesting read.
