Nah, I can see the comparison. They both have those loose spaghetti legs, hunched over back and they both pass the ball with the inside of their foot at a perfect 90 degree angle. And sometimes when he heaves himself into a tackle that also reminds me of the glory days of Djimi. The grounds for comparisons are there but on a whole they are completely different players.

Kolo, who I imagine is boring as a brick, will take Sakho under his guidance and have him working out and playing Uno in the weekends in no time. As opposed to partying and being lazy. Kolo will adjust his pants and set the kid straight. And when Kolo speaks, you fucking listen!

I have a Sissoko shirt from back in the day. The only reason I have one is because the store where I bought it was all out of R`s for the name prints on the back. I guess the Gerrard and Carragher shirts used them all up. I was kind of in a hurry and it was the first player I could think of who didn`t have any R`s in his name.

I agree. NightCat, you need to head over to the positive transfer tread and get some sunshine in your life, all this negativity can't be healthy and quite frankly I'm getting a little concerned. Great thing we signed another CB, hope he turns out to be the world class player people say he is.

This transfer window is starting to feel like some ganster movie parody? It`s all about blackmailing, extortion, holding players for ransom and bullying clubs to pay their loans.

I`m happy with the transfer window thus far. We haven`t paid crazy money for any players. We haven`t bought any injured players. We`ll (hopefully, still) keep our best players. We told Arsenal to fuck off. We got a new keeper who is damn good! And most importantly, I love the way we play football these days. It`s been years since I last felt this excited to watch us play. At the end of the day we`re run on a sensible and sound budget. Our top earners are our top players. (well top proven and/or tenured players) and that`s how it`s supposed to be, right? The young`uns have to prove their worth and the elders have to earn their keep, right?

That "Villas Boas factor" is pure horseshit. If anythings a factor, it`s Coutinho and Lucas telling him we`re the shit and that they have a solid hook-up for high quality, fresh Mate-tea leaves.

I just finished book 4 in the Dark Tower series and I've loved them all to this point. It's the only King books I've read so I voted for that series. I've been binge reading up to this point so I needed to take a break from the series. Guess I'll have to check out The Stand at some point. The "dear reader" at the end of book 4 is brilliant if you're looking for some insight into his own thought about his penmanship. Especially interresting is how all his other novels are somehow tied to the Dark Tower series and it's various worlds.

My Patriots are taking home the Lombardi this year! Whoohoo!!! ...nah, we won't. That would take some kind of miracle, but then again... Teeeeeboow!!!!!!!Yeah no, we won't win. We'll make the playoffs but I can't see the Pats winning a superbowl with our "bend but not break" defense and god knows how many Rutgers rookies.
