  1. If it stays as is with Spurs and Chelsea and Villa beat Brighton on Sunday then a win for us amd Spurs can't get CL
  2. Can i shock you Another team thats part of the City group under investigation
  3. It is due for the summer but instead of June its July into August. So the players likely won't be ready till mid september unless you want to rush them back
  4. We can make a decent side of players that will be in early preseason Kelleher Bradley Quansah van den Berg Beck Endo Gravenberch Elliot Carvalho Jones Salah Gomez Gravenberch Doak Gordon Bajectic
  5. Boxing and all fight sports need to sort this stuff out. Garcia will still live of this as a win and it still elevates him. All fight purses should be kept from fighters awaiting the results of drug tests. If you fail it goes to your opponent unless you can prove it was a painted supplement etc. You should also be on the hook for a private class action suite from fans that paid to see the fight. And you should be banned from all combat sports for life Only something like this that would bankrupt a fighter amd stop them earning again is strong enough to put off fighters. It's harsh but it's not a game performance enhancing drugs in combat sports are potentially a death sentence for your opponent
  6. Listening to Michael Cox book The Mixer Got me thinking about transfers that didn't happen, but if they did change football history. Sheff Weds turning down Fergusons 3ml offer for David Hirst another bid failed for Brian Deane. If that happens they don't buy Cantona for 1ml and it probably changes the 90s. Di Steffano to Barcelona, suspected Franco interferences and he ends up at Real Madrid Others?
  7. ' He doesn't want to leave Inter, he has said that multiple times. Quality player though Eze i like but not really as a 10 and not for 60+ml either, he is 26 aswell so unlikely to get much better. 19 goals and 8 assists over the past 3 years isn't near good enough for a top club. Its a shame Olise hamstrings seem to be a issue, last 2 seasons he has missed 21 games to hamstring issues. But this year he has 7 goals and 4 assists in 16 games(just over 1000 minutes)
  8. This Im single but im a boring fucker and selfish with my off time. But there is no way i'd be fucking around behind someone's back
  9. Reminiscent of some of Gerrard and Torres goals that one
  10. Duane Eddy, pioneering rock’n’roll guitarist, dies at 86 Duane Eddy, the rock’n’roll guitarist who achieved solo stardom with a string of instrumental hits in the late 1950s and early 1960s, including Rebel Rouser and the theme to the TV series Peter Gunn, has died at the age of 86. The Grammy-winning artist died of cancer surrounded by family at Williamson Health hospital near his home in Franklin, Tennessee, his wife Deed Abbate told the Associated Press. “Duane inspired a generation of guitarists the world over with his unmistakeable signature ‘Twang’ sound,” a representative said in a statement. “He was the first rock and roll guitar god, a truly humble and incredible human being. He will be sorely missed.” With his distinctive sound of rhythm, hollers and hand claps, as well as a principle that the guitar’s lower strings sounded better on tape than its high ones, Eddy helped established a “twangy” rock’n’roll sound that inspired future internationally famous guitarists from George Harrison to Bruce Springsteen. He notched 16 top 40 singles between 1958 and 1963 – near single-handedly cementing the position of the rock’n’roll guitar star. “Instrumentalists don’t usually become famous. But Duane Eddy’s electric guitar was a voice all its own,” said Kyle Young, CEO of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, in a statement to Variety. “His sound was muscular and masculine, twangy and tough. Duane scored more than 30 hits on the pop charts. But more importantly, his style inspired thousands of hillbilly cats and downtown rockers – the Ventures, George Harrison, Steve Earle, Bruce Springsteen, Marty Stuart, to name a few – to learn how to rumble and move people to their core. The Duane Eddy sound will forever be stitched into the fabric of country and rock & roll.” Born on 26 April in Corning, NY, Eddy began playing guitar at the age of five. He began performing in local radio shows as a child, with a guitar style primarily shaped by the singing cowboys Roy Rodgers and Gene Autry, as well as musicians Les Paul, Chet Atkins and Merle Travis. After moving to Arizona at the age of 13, Eddy linked up with a friend, Jimmy Delbridge, to perform in local shows. They were scouted by aspiring producer Lee Hazelwood, who went on to record Eddy’s first solo single, Movin’ n’ Groovin’ in 1957, when Eddy was 19. Hazelwood and Eddy developed the distinctive “twang” style, which Hazelwood later adapted for Nancy Sinatra’s smash 1960 hit These Boots Are Made for Walkin. Though his chart success waned during the British invasion in the mid-1960s, Eddy’s style had an immediate impact on up-and-coming musicians, including Harrison and Hank Marvin of the Shadows. His music stayed alive, however, through use in more than 30 movies and TV shows over years. He reached the charts as late as 1986, with a remake of his 1960 song Peter Gunn by the UK band Art of Noise. Eddy recorded over 50 albums during his lifetime, including reissues, the vast majority before his retirement in the mid-1980s. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994.

  12. We should be aiming for a win but a points gets us 3rd no matter what happens in the final 2 game, unless Villa could turn round a 20+GD. We need a win though to turn this shitfest around and to change the atmosphere
  13. Someone i have been all in on us signing. I think had covid not hit when it did we would have bought him as we revamped the forward line when Salah and Mane could have gone for 100/150ml range
  14. After the way she acted during that FA cup final and then throwing out male aggression PR bullshit to hide behind im delighted its seems to be falling apart for her
  15. Would love to see Dortmund win the Cup. Proper side, great fans and not cheating bastards
  16. Osimhen with Mo And yes I know its the Italian media so probably bollocks. But now let's sell Diaz and buy Kvaratskhelia
  17. Surely though Everton would have to pay them up and can't just not pay. Even going into administration they be forced to sell anyone they could do reduce the wage bill and bring money in to pay off creditors. I mean I guess a new buyer could come in and reach a agreement over the loans
  18. Just looking if 777 don't takeover they also owe them over 200m The additional working capital that has been signed off by 777 Partners is – sources close to the group insist – a further sign of their commitment to a full buyout. The potential owners will turn that debt of more than £200m into equity in the club if a takeover is signed off. If it is not, it will become so-called junior debt for either the current ownership or any rival buyer who emerges. So if Everton went into administration they'd have a fire sale of players and possibly sell the ground to try and get the debt owed to RMF and 777 would get whatever is left after that?
  19. What I don't get is how 777 are late with payments. They don't own tne club so any payment would be a loan surely.
  20. It's not Liverpool centric though we come up lots. It's history of football sort of thing These football times
  21. He's got 31 goal involvements Stats are good He's been offside 30 times He's missed 26 big chances He under his XG by 5 goals Fuck off with your stats nerd
  22. Is this right? If that loan is over 20 years at 10.25% they will have paid 1.5 billion back
