  1. I don't give a toss about what race they are, they're tossers for blowing the bloody things for the entire match. Interestingly enough one of the commentators remarked on the noise at the first match and said we'd get used to it. He was wrong.....
  2. Says it all. Torres gets married and is NOT in Hello! What a guy
  3. Sorry that I'm not here very much so if this has already been covered.... Who gave the African fans fucking plastic horns? If there's one thing that's going to put me off watching the World Cup it's going to be that fucking angry bee swarm noise that fucking goes on and fucking on. Time to turn the sound off.... Rant over.
  4. That last lap battle between Rossi and Lorenzo was truly awesome :wow: Up with the Rossi/Stoner race at Laguna. The 125s made me laugh. Bet he feels a right tosser...
  5. Sorry mate, not beebn around for a couple of days. A Godin eh? Very nice., that explains the shape. Electro acoustics are always a slightly odd sound imo (I blame Ovation) but this sounds pretty good. I reckon a touch of chorus would round it out nicely.
  6. If I could only write a song half as good as that. Good vocals and neat playing. That's not a Telecoustic by any chance is it?
  7. Basingstoke. I was on a Virgin train approaching Basingstoke when an announcement came over the speakers. "For anyone about to leave the train at Basingstoke can I just say, I am truly sorry" Croydon is a shithole as well but there are a couple of decent pubs. I could do an alphabet of shitholes Aberysytwyth, Basildon, Croydon, Deptford, Ealing - fuck it I'm bored now
  8. Chelsea played a spoiling, ugly game (don't they always?). They stopped Barca playing. Sure it's football but not how I want to see it played. The ref was shit but he he could hardly be accused of bias after sending off a Barca player for no foul and refusing them a couple of free kicks in dangerous positions. Wtf were the linesmen doing anyway, they must have seen some of those "offences"? It's always good to see Chelsea lose and to see it as karma is all the sweeter. Now we just need Barca to put the mancs in their place.
  9. I was going to watch it later and then I heard on the radio how it finished. Dunno about you but it's like watching MOTD, I can't do it if I know the result.
  10. Six tonnes de chair > Sit on the chair Ame coquine > I'm cooking Guy vomit sous mon nez ! > Give-me some money Ail guy ma hâte
  11. WTF is it with people that can generate so much hatred? I don't see anything like this when the Munich crash is mentioned. We don't accuse the mancs of wallowing in grief and telling them to move on. It's all fucking tragedy and should be treated as such, This isn't some game where you pretend. It's real life unfortunately. They say time heals but in reality time just eases the pain a little but won't ever take it away. Rant over. YNWA
  12. It's just a pity that you have to register at UKGSer* ::::* For BMW GS Enthusiasts (a site for wannabee Ewan MacGregors and Charlie Bore-em to death) to respond to this. Can you believe the cunt? He's getting a bit of kicking but a rather disturbing number are agreeing. UKGSER Hillsborough thread Scousers vs. Tykes Crushed to death or burnt to death..who suffered the most? Theres only one way to sort this one out FFFFIII.. actually I'm getting a bit tired of seeing/hearing about the Hillsborough disaster..move on.jeez talk about wallowing in your own misery.whiney whiney This opinion is mine only and does not reflect what other Yorkshire folk (pity poor Bradford) may think about the good people of Liverpool - feck off Tarby.
  13. Ron Yeats of course :) A true leader and imo the foundation rock from which Shankly built the "new" Liverpool team in the 60s which was the forerunner and model for the Liverpool teams for the next few decades.
  14. The mugs in my office are us for putting up with so much shit.
  15. Oi, less of the nerds :-) I like how you got into the racing. I never got to the NW200 although I did make it to the IOM once. Great fun! My Dad used to race speedway in the army and said he was offered a place in the Liverpool team (this would have been early 50s) but couldn't afford the leathers. He moved to Essex and we used to go to Raleigh for the speedway and it got me hooked on racing and bikes and I've been riding now for 35 years and still love it. Nice to see other bike fans here as well.
  16. I rather liked it but in reality I think they're taking the piss
  17. Guintoli did rather well and comes over as a top bloke when interviewed. I'll be watching him with interest over the season.
  18. Funnily enough I watched the race on the BBC (red button and all that) and Charlie Cox and Steve Parrish were very entertaining. A real sense of anarchy and danger in their conversations :-) I particularly liked "it's deja vu, all over again" Anyway, back to the racing. Rossi screwed up the start and even though he started to cut the gap to Stoner his tyres went and decided "better second than crash" or something like that. I think him and Stoner will still be fighting it out at the end of the season and I'd be surprised if any of the others get anywhere near over the course of the season. There are some excellent riders there but when Rossi is on the top of his game he's pretty much unbeatable and as Stoner and the Duke look invincible at the moment this is lining up to be a good 'un. Rossi is probably the best MotoGP rider we'll ever see and it'll be interesting if he does go to F1 or rally as is constantly rumoured. Don't forget WSB and BSB either as both of them have provided some of the best bike racing ever. Nothing though comes close to the Rossi and Stoner battle at Laguna last year. And they say motorcycling isn't a contact sport :-) .... a simply fucking awesome race. All I can find is this but it's still good. And just for fun (although this isn't the reason I watch MotoGP - honest) WTF were they doing with umbrellas at night in Qatar btw?
  19. Lucky fuckin bastards. We did ourselves proud and if it wasn't for a lack of concentration at the back we could have won. How much do I fucking hate Drogba? The cunt even rolled back on the field to get play stopped (probably already been said but it's taken me so long to get in I can't afford the time to read the thread....) Well done lads, you deserved better and Barca will see how the Chavs can be beat.
  20. 1 in 5 according to the BBC We're all doomed I tell ye, doomed.... (well I probably am) I thought it was nice of them to tell us the decisions will be made between now and 2010.. that's what I call forward planning.
  21. Coldplay - Viva Vida - bollox lyrics, bollox voice and bollox melody that he probably nicked anyway
  22. Shit, shit, shit. Someone said "spawny goals". Maybe, The first was a gift, the second he seemed to scuff the shot and the third was all too reminiscent of the Everton goal against us in the cup replay. Villa played well and showed, yet again, United could be beat and had the Villa defence been a little more together I would have gone to bed happy and pissed tonight instead of just pissed. I hope Porto were watching and taking notes. Something makes me want to write CUNTS CUNTS CUNTS but I'm not sure it'll make me feel any better. As someone else said, all we can do is keep on winning, it's out of our hands but you don't give up until there really is no chance. Sometimes I fucking hate being a football supporter... YNWA
