CELTIC Under-19s will play English giants Liverpool in the final of the prestigious Villarreal Youth Tournament tonight, Tuesday, August 11.
The young Hoops secured their place in the final for the first time after a dramatic 2-1 win over the Japanese national side on Monday.
Having already secured wins over Real Madrid and AC Milan, it was another huge scalp for the Bhoys – who will now take on Liverpool in Tuesday’s showpiece final.
Celtic went in to the game with Japan knowing that a victory would take them through and produced the goods, with goals from Declan Gallacher and James Forrest sealing the 2-1 win. The final kicks off at 8.30pm on Tuesday night.
