Couple more defeats this side of Christmas and Howe and the Orange guy could be in the shite. Doubt it will happen as after Spurs at the weekend they play Fulham, Luton and Forest. I hope Howe clings on as it will limit the progress they can make, a fancy new European manager will have no hesitation on chucking money about

To challenge for the title will need CB cover and a decent goal scoring poacher type striker
-
He’s an improvement on Origi with better hair. Not a starter at this stage though

If we get to Wembley he will definitely make the warm up.

In another dimension somewhere Thiago and Keita start for us this weekend

Do it Tony- you wont regret it. I only got a cheap one in Asda couple of years back- use it pretty much every day- Id say it cooks better than the oven particularly for breaded and battered stuff and uses much less energy

Realism/Negativity alert I look forward to wildly celebrating us taking a 1-0 lead only to hear Neville muttering "I think it will be checked" as our players gather in celebration.......leading to the inevitable toe offside which in turn changes the dynamic in an instant as the delight the City fans feel wakes up the stadium and their team respond by upping the tempo when in fact they should be 1-0 down early in the game with the prospect of a real entertaining football match about to break out being extinguished by some guys sat in a room nowhere near the ground.....

The fans statement from them is quite something. I feel for them- it’s like being skint on Monopoly and then landing on Mayfair covered in houses and hotels

I’d foolishly forgotten about Mr Cadburys parrot. Good memory skills

Imagine cheating and still winning f**k all

Real Box Office would have been Klopp suddenly appearing on the touch line in full on Ric Flair Robe and hitting Ange with a chair then just walking off giving it "Woooooo!" to the crowd

In fairness he gets a lot of stick when it goes wrong for him but he also gets a lot of credit and leeway that wouldn’t be afforded to others when it’s going well

This sums it perfectly. Its the judgement and adjusting his body when the ball is coming at him that he struggles with rather than when he has it under control. With the ball at his feet he can be sublime. I guess that can be coached to some extent but for the top strikers that would be instinct at this stage of their career

Despite the popular opinion on here- NO-ONE wants him to fail. He has the skill set to be a phenomenon. What puzzles me is he doesn’t build on confidence/momentum. He has games like Newcastle and you think “bang” he’s off and running… and then it reverts back to hot and cold.

Calm down Zonky. Your going all red in the face and your hearts racing

Oh dear. Tremendous stuff

Agree how this competition is helping bed-in the new midfield and giving opportunities elsewhere on the pitch. In some ways I hope Thiago just sees the season out with his "niggling injury" He's part of the midfield of the past but would no doubt expect to play at the expense of players who are the future.

I was driving home when it broke and talksport changed the schedule to take a phone in on it for half hour or so. Plenty phoned up and spoke positively of him but Talksport host (Goldstein) ended every call by asking the person if they had people that could be with them tonight and people they could talk to if they needed. it was weird

If I was Wenger, given the rivalry, Id have tried to get him to go to City. Cole was a shock as you say.

Van Persie to United was ridiculous. What was Wenger thinking?
