A judge has launched an*amazing attack on footballer Luis Suarez after a Manchester United fan hit his partner*with a TV remote control following the infamous handshake bust-up with Patrice Evra. He said: “In my judgement it would've occurred sooner or later as it's quite clear you have an anger problem and have behaved in a bullying fashion for many years towards your partner without any thought for the effects it would have. “To blame Mr Suarez, in my view, illustrates your refusal to confront the real issue.” Speaking outside court Trelfa said he was 'sorry' for his actions. He said: “I would like to apologise for what happened and I'm relieved with the judge's decision. “I saw the snub and it just made me angry. It annoyed me so much.”

I think he writes most of Gervais routines for him, so thats why they seem similar, he's a decent writer but not a stand up comic! Like you say, to cringey, to like Gervais but cant do the self depreciating / arrogant bits as well. It might b ok to watch live with poeple laughing around you, but the DVD is painful to watch. There seems to be a load of below parr stand up DVDs out this christmas, watched the Greg Davies one, that got turned off faster then the Merchant one. Peter Kays is the exact same routine as before just with differant jokes. Dylan Morans is watchable but nothing great. Got Angelos Epithemus still to watch am hoping thats going to be a bit differant.

I really never saw the point... you get jumped by someone / many who you know you cant fight off, so you pull your knife. from here it seems like you've backed into a corner, only 2 things can happen, they run off (prob same as if you'd just put up a fight) or they dont and you then have to stab someone or fight with them knowing you've just given the thumbs up to someone getting stabbed.
