interesting that you say that the 1 thing that stood out in the 2 pre season matches so far was the lack of height up front.There has been 4 or 5 high balls into the box each game and nobody tall enough to get on the end of them i'll be honest i am pro andy carroll and i think carroll borini and suarez would be an excellent front 3 and should be given a chance instead of losing 15m in offloading the big lad

ohhh im sorry thought forums for those that have opinions on a subject to share them how can you honestly say carroll wont fit into "the system" who knows (not you or i) it may well suit him.... what makes you think borini is any better other than the poor reply of he will fit in the system....how do you know this? do you have info we are not privvy to? while we are at it please tell me where borini has set the world on fire with his prolific goal scoring record because id love to know why spend another 8-12m on a player that is unproven ? all questions that need to be asked and you say i need to stay off this thread........:wallbutt:

so replacing him with a chelsea reject borini who has done no more than carroll, or dempsey who's better days are behind him are the answer is it? id rather we gave him another season and see what happens than spend money on a reject or an over the hill player wingers brendon wingers!!!!! now that would solve half our issues :yes:

i agree i really do think with the right guidance he can be up there with the best but thats if our managers stop smashing his confidence every time he starts to come good KK did it and now BR is on the same track. if BR is as good as people says he is with man management and getting the best out of players then he wont have a problem making big andy a top striker

so what JH is saying is why build a new stadium or improve anfield when all the extra capacity will be doing is servicing the debt taken on to do it.....now thats good business sence there are other ways to make money and not have to service a debt to do it just a question i know we have a deal with sky but why cant we make all our other home games PPV on the LFCTV channel? i would have thought that in itself would raise revenue hugely in the worldwide fanbase this club has

ive gone AVB i think he is a quality manager and given time and abit of money he would build a quality squad that plays quality football cant see them going for Rafa i think that ship has sailed as FSG want to look forward not back Klopp wants to stay where he is Martinez thanks but no thanks so think AVB would be a top choice lets not forget what he did for Porto

ive said all along give him time he will make it and show his worth and today i think he can be proud of what he did on the pitch and long may he carry on doing that i would say he was our best player today

some of the comments are laughable they really are id rather have a player that shows emotions and storm off down the tunnel than go sit on the bench and act a if he dont give a shit about the game (he would have got shit for that aswell) sorry but he is in a no win situation so his shirt hit the floor whoopee shit i throw mine across the room into the washing basket does that mean i i disrespect the top/club? does it fuck i dare any of you to go and play in such a hostile place where everyone is booing you and throwing abuse towards you and not get wound up and show no reaction the problem with carroll can be solved and thats have 2 wingers that can actually cross a ball instead of it hitting the first defender look at alot of his goals he has scored the ball has been put infront of him not straight at him he need service and sad to say he really is not getting it

yeah i'll agree with that what they are saying is in a nutshell is its wrong for suarez to refuse to shake evra's hand but its ok for ferdinand to refuse to shake suarez hand work that 1 out about time they did away with this handshaking business

think he needs a run of games to get him flowing id play him against WBA and a couple of games after that but if not give him a run in a couple of reserve games to me (and im no expert) he lacks game time,fitness and a few goals or could it be the coaching staff are trying to change his game?
