  1. me too. Respect to the family and everything, feel terrible for them, but I don't think a min silence is appropriate - fair enough if the chelsea players want to wear black armbands, but I think a min silence is too much. On another thread people were saying how the minute silence for that uefa official totally destroyed the atmosphere that had built up the other week, as I saud, respect to them, but this is a massive match for us, and we need to go there revved up to do a job.
  2. yeah - thats what worries me...... I feel sick, but then I did before the arsenal games too!
  3. that photo is way beyond wrong
  4. must admit I have heard him far worse than he was last night. still a twat though
  5. yeah I know - i too meant typical of money makers, not the fans
  6. is typical. I've heard that the first one didn't even have the words right either and they had to change it. To be fair to them loads of their fans have kicked off over it though
  7. Nice one. Focussed and organised is what we need.
  8. stella st was funny-but he came across as a smart arse on who's line...... I rememmber they all had to do an improvisation once, about the worst person to get stuck in a lift with... one of the cast went 'hello i'm john sessions'. and that was it, game over, everyone pissing themselves
  9. who's line is it anyway - john sessions - say no more
  10. that 'little miss jocelyn' on bbc2. utter shite.
  11. jesus i'd forgotten that film - isn't that the one with evil things on rollerblades? scared me when I saw it
  12. I know sod all about rugby, but it's always a good excuse to go the pub. plus any chance that that smarmy gavin henson bloke could get battered is as good a reason to watch as any I reckon.
  13. ha ha, not at my school. I do remember stories about posh boarding schools and the lads playing the biscuit game together
  14. do you reckon anything to taking carnitine capsules? my mate has started training for power lifting, and he was taking them a few months ago when he wnated to lose fat as reckons they speed up fat breakdown?
  15. is the truth. using placcy bags and energy efficent light bulbs aren't going to make a shite of difference. We felt morally obliged to buy those bag for life things at the supermarket a few weeks back, and we always end up forgetting to take them when we go. Don't think they've been re-used once. It's all a politically correct money spinning plan I reckon.
  16. yeah agree 100% no way could ever share with the bitters no matter how much cash it woulkd save us
  17. ha - loving the mini me reference
  18. to be honest, as much as I would like an extra day off, I feel uncomfortable about it being off the back of remembrance day. I think it is best marked as it is now, on remembrance sunday. I just think that it could in a way become devalued as sadly a lot of people would just be made up with another long weekend.....
  19. Yeah I saw it, thought it was chilling. Knew a bit about it before, but had no idea about the shootings by the plane. The worst bit was listening to the screams and moaning on the audio tape when the kids were being taken off to be posioned. Jones was a lunatic with a lot of power. As one of the survivors on the programme said, a lot of death that day was murder not suicide.
  20. the draw happens in an hour........ bbc 2
  21. I like momo and am sorry he is off without achievinbg his best with us- good luck to the lad
  22. Birdsong by S.Faulkes.... I know loads of people that said it was a brilliant book and one of their all time favourites, but it just didn't hold my attention. I hate not finishing books so I ended up skim reading it, and gave it away to my sister when I 'finished' it
