  1. What's Kevin Friend been smoking, a contentious decision in our favour? Fuck me. Missed, fuck me again.
  2. True. But still, at least drop Lovren and Mignolet for Karius and Trent, some accountability for atrocious performances would be nice.
  3. Nice to reward incompitence. Play as shit as you fucking like and still make the team next week eh. Sheesh.
  4. Well this 'No plan B' transfer bollocks is working out well.
  5. Love the white Crown Paints, but the first one I had when I was 7 will always be my favourite.
  6. Sticking with my original vote of 5th after no central defenders bought, a few injuries at the back and we are royally fucked. Sakho now gone and Lucas who provided defensive cover also sold seems fucking insane.
  7. I used to think Klopp said all these things to placate the current squad but now I haven't got a fucking clue what the fuck he's going on about. I think we took 3 fit first team midfielders to Hoffenheim or some shit like that with Milner perhaps filling the void. Our defence is bollocks and the few midfielders we have are weak as piss, the fucking Powerpuff Girls. Fuck me, we need serious investment in this shower of piss.
  8. This is from Paul Joyce Liverpool have rejected a third bid worth a total of £118 million for Philippe Coutinho from Barcelona which included a payment if the Brazilian wins the Ballon d’Or. The offer - which would have been a record fee received by a British club - was tabled today and immediately rebuffed, with Liverpool adamant that they will not buckle under the Catalan club’s persistent pursuit of the player. The breakdown of Barcelona’s bid would have seen Liverpool receive a guaranteed payment of £82.1 million with a further £36.5 million linked to the progress of Coutinho and his new club. Of those add-ons, Barcelona wanted to pay a specific sum if Coutinho followed the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in lifting the Ballon d’Or, the award for the best player in the world. They also proposed payments linked to the club winning the Champions League in future. But however achievable those triggers are viewed, Liverpool are insistent that they will not sell Coutinho despite the player submitting a transfer request last Friday. He has told Jürgen Klopp, the Liverpool manager, he does not want to play for the club again. Barcelona have already had bids of £72 million and £90.3 million dismissed. The absence of a release clause in the five-year contract Coutinho signed in January means that Liverpool can stand strong for as long as they want. Owners Fenway Sports Group released a statement seven days ago saying their “definitive stance” is that all offers will be turned down in the transfer window. While Barcelona can continue bidding, they are pushing at a closed door. Coutinho has not played this season due to a back injury sustained at the Audi Cup in Munich at the start of August which is where he was told in face to face talks with FSG president Mike Gordon that he is not for sale. He will again be missing for today’s Premier League game with Crystal Palace at Anfield. Klopp will also consider Coutinho as being likely to miss next Wednesday’s Champions League play-off, second, leg, with TSG 1899 Hoffenheim which would leave the game with Arsenal on August 27 as the only remaining fixture before the transfer window shuts. The problem then will be the rehabilitation of Coutinho back into the fold with the player viewing Barcelona’s interest as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity following the departure of Neymar from the Nou Camp to Paris Saint-Germain for £198 million.

  10. “As a manager of a football club, I have bosses. That decide, for example, just in general, if we sell a player or we don't sell him. Then I have to accept it. “If they don't sell him, then I am not involved any more. I'm responsible for all of our players, not just one or two or three, but all of them. “I can't say anything about it, the only thing is I work with the players I have. That's what I'm always doing.
  11. Sheesh not sure if it's a case of money talks and bullshit walks and we're world class walkers. Or look to pursue unattainable targets on purpose to make it look like they are making an effort but really to keep the cash and buy a yacht the size of Texas. Or we're just so unimaginably horseshit at transfers that's it's fucking painful. Probably the third option.

  15. Shit flying left right and centre from these cunts Rooney vs Rashford It is important to point out that this only alleged at this stage. We tried to find out if there was more to it than the persistent rumour but we were unable to clarify. Red Issue would be the ones to get to the bottom of it, if anybody can. The story goes like this, United, Rooney and Rashford included, lost to Watford on Sunday 18th September. It is fair to say that both players had contrasting afternoons. Rashford, making one of his first starts of the season, scored the United equaliser. Rooney was widely derided for a poor performance. Some fans even went as far as to make a mini blooper reel of all his bad touches and misplaced passes. On the 19th September Rashford gives an interview to the press in which he says he would like to play in the number ten position behind a striker. The role that was currently occupied by Rooney and allegedly the captain feels it is disrespectful that Rashford would openly talk about taking his place. Rooney finds out on either the same day, or when the papers come out on the 20th of September. He then pins Rashford up against a wall and threatens him. This is apparently witnessed by other players. Now the interesting thing here is that the rumour simply refuses to go away. Rashford has stayed tight lipped on it, when a simple denial would have put the matter to bed. Rooney has gone as far as seeking out his new best buddy, Neil Custis of The Sun, to bring the matter up and say it never took place. Just on that, Rooney and his agent used to use one journalist in particular for all their stories. Towards the end of the season and especially in the summer that changed. We won’t name the journalist in question for the simple reason that we want to keep a good relationship with them. You’d be surprised how many bits of good information you can get from a friendly journalist! More here http://www.theunitedpages.com/why-firemanmou/, if you fancy extra doses of schadenfreude.
  16. Regarding our defence we've conceded 4 more than City, 3 more than Arsenal and 1 more than United in 10 games. Considering our fixtures during that time I don't think all the hysteria and media negativity towards our defence is entirely justified, it seem to be one of those cunty bandwagons that everyone seems to leap on to fit in with everybody else. Could do with a minor improvement but fuck, it's not that bad, is it?
  17. Nothing more satisfying than buttfucking a team managed by that pontificating prick Pardew.
