  1. I just hope they are both not ultra cautious or it will turn into a Haye Valuev boreathon. Hope Haye jumps on him from the opening bell. If Haye is too cautious I think Klitschko will out jab him at long range and win comfortably on points or wear Haye down for a late stoppage.
  2. Have you seen the film Message To Love about the 1970 IOW festival? Wish I'd been there.
  3. Hernia my arse, he's had a hair transplant!
  4. Flog him to Arsenal now for £20 million before he becomes a sicknote!
  5. Sparky, Planet of the Apes and Gosh! It's Tosh.
  6. Agree with all that. QPR was my favourite London away. Probably because it wasn't as frightening as West Ham, Chelsea, Millwall, Spurs etc. Got locked out of Loftus Road once. Nicol scored the winner. Went on the Footy Special and because a load got locked out the next away game (Spurs) was either free or only a pound on the special. (Can't remember all the details but it was around 1983 or 1984) Haven't got very many happy memories of Norwich away. Really long journey, went there twice lost 1 - 0 the first time and went to the 0 - 0 big let game you mentioned. Swansea was a favourite away trip too. As you say The Vetch was a shed and the locals are a bit strange but enjoyable all the same. Saw Liverpool win every time I went there.
  7. The Wiki page also states 2007 - 2011 Valencia 0 Appearances Has he not played any games in the last 3 or 4 years?
  8. Pleased for Groves but I thought De Gale just nicked it
  9. Too much dancing and throwing single shots from both of them.
  10. So Fergie IS fielding a weakened team tomorrow then! Fine the bastards!
  11. Ah right. If true it shows we are seriously interested in him.
  12. Offered 90K a week by who? Liverpool? Villa? Man U?
  13. By 'Jock' you mean Hansen? Never heard him called 'Jock' before. He wouldn't want the job and we don't need him.
  14. I really liked him but I don't think he was immediately accepted by all of the fans. 2 idiots who used to sit behind me would refer to him as 'Markus Bad Ball' My 2 greatest memories of him are the headed goal in the Alaves final and him sprinting the length of the pitch at Goodison to score in the McAllister 3 - 2 Derby. It was a fairly simple finish but it was the fact that a full back ran from one penalty area to the other to be in the position to score.
  15. Near Dark soundtrack by Tangerine Dream so it's a winner with me.
  16. This is on RAWK - Hyypiä just announced in press conference in Helsinki that he will retire after this season. What a man. What a player. I really hope he returns to Liverpool one day as a coach. He will join Finland national team coaching staff immediately and next season he will also work as Leverkusen assistant manager! Doesn't look like he will be coming back here.
