Skrtel`s teammate at Zenit, Erik Hagen, has just been interviewed by a norwegian website about the signing:
He is a very promising player with great heading ability and good pace.
If he cuts out the elementary mistakes from his game he can go very far.
Playing for Zenit he has commited several mistakes that have cost us points.
I don`t think he`s been cynical enough when needed.
He`s by no means poor with the ball at his feet, it`s more to do with errors of judgement.
Surprised that he signed for Liverpool?
I know the club has been working intensely on selling Skrtel, and I`ve heard previously that Liverpool were interested so it`s not very surprising.
Good in the air, and quick. That doesn`t sound like a bad combination?
No, the English game should suit him well, but he`s lacking in experience.
