I usually use FF and on occasion, Chromium. I mainly use FF on Ubuntu. I rarely use Windows now. FF seems to take longer to start on Windows than compared to Ubuntu. I use FF mainly due to the Add ons. Adblock Plus and No Script stop alot of the junk working, so i can read what I want rather then being plastered with adverts.

Have a look in Synaptic or KPackagekit, depending on what you are using, either Gnome or KDE. Have a Google too. I personally have not heard of problems with the Atheros Cards.

I assume that you may have a Broadcom wireless card in your laptop. There are problems associated with these type of cards. Get the exact model details and Google the model with the Word Linux, and you should be able to get a driver. Or even better, have a look at the software repository and you might find the driver there. You will of course, have to have a Ethernet connection with you router/switch.

The problem though is that his club, Hampshire (?) do not want to let him play, due to him pissing on them publicly. He could have been more tactful regards to not wanting to play on the South Coast and wanting to get a London based club. It's going to be interesting to see what he will do in the second innings, otherwise he might not be playing in Australia later on this year.

I've been a fan of Ubuntu for a few years, I use Kubuntu (KDE is a desktop (manager), it is more Windows like). I have installed this on my laptop after getting rid of XP, after 1 year of ownership. I generally use it for browsing and a little bit of typing, so I'm not really missing out. If you're an itunes fan, then you might miss this, but I'm sure others on here could point you in the right direction. I would definitely go for it. I'd wait until sometime in May to download and install Ubuntu (or variations thereof) 10.4, because that is supposed to be the Long Term Support edition, i.e this will be supported for 3 years on the desktop, so you don't have to change the software regularly. I don't think this works anylonger. I have tried to forward my emails to gmail, but it stops me from doing this! It says that I can only forward on emails to either *@hotmail.com, or *@live.com or *@msn.com

Keep a beard. When I get a haircut, I also get a shave to shape my beard, and also get the beard trimmed to a grade 4. Always have the moustache shaved though, the missus doesn't like the prickly feeling.

The problem with SKy is that they only broadcast at 1080i or 720p, not 1080p, which is considered to be true HD. Again, this is to do with bandwidth management and cost issues, I think. In the end, Sky will offer true HD, especially when they think customers are prepared to pay a bit more!

If I remember correctly, he wasn't prepared to change some aspects of his game for Rafa. This is the reason that he wasn't bought. As you all know Rafa, he loves a hard worker first, then a superstar second!
