  1. From a lad on YNWA.. Withdrawal is genuine. Ganis has just confirmed it is final and said that they will buy another Premier League club instead. Report there are strong indications they are opening negotiations with Everton. :no

  6. How do you rate that Wilson lad from Rangers.
  7. Connor Wickham... A Liverpool fan whose role model is Fernando Torres, Wickham spent four years on Reading’s books, living in Aldershot, before his father’s job in the Army led them to Colchester and trials with Ipswich. He made sure he studied sufficiently hard to gain eight A-C grade GCSEs before leaving Philip Morant School last summer. “He’s a very level-headed young man,” Peacock said. “I think he’s at the right club and Roy’s done a really good job with him, steadily developing him. He’s a goalscorer but he’s matured a lot in his build-up play. “Physically he’s a real specimen of a young man so it’s no surprise he’s dealing with the physical demands of Championship football. He’s had a lot of accolades this year but he’s dealt with it all in a very mature manner. Within this peer group, he’s just one of the 18. That can only be of benefit to the team.” Well at least he is a Red thats a start. The signings of Shelvey and Sterling have to be a bonus as they are probally two of the best young English player's around and they are already on board. I think Tom Cairney (Hull City) and James McCarthy (Wigan) were two of the best young British midfielder's in the EPL last season. And Wilson (Rangers) and Kelly could be our future centre back partnership for years to come. If we are to sign British player's i would stick to signing player's to form our back-bone and bring in foreigner's for there flair.

  12. Good post but your wall butt is all you'll get on here. Its a pity the majority on here didn't have the same agenda against the owners like they had against Rafa.
  13. The club is rotten to the core and while twit and twat own us we are in decline. So we want to get rid of the only piece of glue holding us together. We get rid of Rafa we'll get a yes man who will except a transfer budget of nil.But he'll be fresh to rally the troops and get the enthusiasm going again. We are completly fucked.

  15. Hicks and Gillett set to sell quarter share of Liverpool - MirrorFootball.co.uk Liverpool's American owners are ready to put up to 25 per cent of the club up for sale to raise £100m that can be used to build a new stadium. Investment experts Merrill Lynch have been appointed to explore ways in which the Anfield club can raise funds to help cut the debt and get the stadium project off the ground. They have been told to go to potential investors in the Middle East to offer a quarter stake in the club, or even raise a new share issue to bring funds in Liverpool. Owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett want to retain overall control at Anfield, but after announcing a new £80million shirt sponsorship deal with Standard Chartered Bank, they now want to move swiftly on the stadium project which has been mothballed for the past two years.
