I gave him some grief earlier in the season and said he wasn’t good enough for us, but i was wrong and he was just out of form. The same was true of Kelleher earlier this season. Most of our backup players are really good once they get a run of games He’s been quality when he’s played recently, and I thought his set pieces were superb yesterday and ended up winning us the game. Also love his part in all the celebrations.

Welcome to Liverpool, Alexis Mac Allister

I thought he had an excellent game yesterday until he tired towards the end. A mate of mine told me something the other day that blew my mind, Macca is younger than Trent. How the fuck can that be right? But it absolutely is. -

@dave u @Chris Any chance you lads could have a go at doing a pod on this during the upcoming international break? I’m giving plenty of warning so you can all have a good think. I don’t mind if you pinch some of my favourite moments from this thread. -

The club with the highest commercial revenue of any club in the world is nowhere to be seen. How odd.

They’ve got Samba in black for £60 and white for £65 available on here. Good selection of sizes. The black go with pretty much everything. https://www.mandmdirect.com/02/fts/?search=adidas+samba

If none of our top lads leave, then a summer concentrating on contract extensions would be fine in my book. Get Mo tied down for another 2 years, same with Virgil, get Trent on a new five year deal, and Konaté is out of contract in 2026, so let’s get him to sign for another five years as well. We should also reward some of the young lads for the progress they’ve made, starting with Bradley obviously.

Look at the responses to Martyn Ziegler on Twitter for this report he did for The Times. Talk about deranged. https://x.com/martynziegler/status/1753072773059039495?s=46&t=qV1qKn65kgx3vq9eN8GEGw

They’ve fell off a cliff since Tuchel left haven’t they? The two finals we had against them in 2022 were really close affairs, and realistically could have gone either way. That last night was as dominant a performance as I can remember against a Chelsea team since the dodgy Russian walked through the door and bought them success. If they miss out on Europe again this season, you would think they will be severely restricted in the transfer window this summer. Todd Boehly is the best thing to happen to them since they were relegated in 1988. As for Pochettino, I’m starting to think that Harry Kane and Son made him look a much better manager than he actually is. The Reds were absolutely magnificent last night though, not sure any team out there could have lived with us in that mood. -

They’ve all been great tonight, but Bradley, Jota and Mac Allister have really stood out. -
I’ve already heard that one.
