From The Mirror: >CROUCH IS TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGGER >Kiki King, Eva Simpson & Caroline Hedley > >LANKY Liverpool striker Peter Crouch was left saying ouch after taking a crafty puff on a mate's cig on Sunday night. > >Club legend Gary McAllister was so furious when he saw 6ft 7ins player smoking that he gave him a clip around the ear. > >"Gary smacked him over the head!" says our source. "Peter was so embarrassed but soon got over it by snogging a girl." > >Crouch was partying at London's Paper club after the PFA awards. He was with Steven Gerrard, who had just been voted Player of the Year. > >Chelsea players were also at the club but steered clear of the Liverpudlians. Good job too after Saturday's FA Cup semi-final clash, which Chelsea lost.
  10. Looks like the lazy bastards just copied the story from here: http://www.eatsleepsport.com/news_details.aspx?story_id=1&l_id=1&c=England&t_id=44&lg=Premiership Reds agree deal to sign Argentina ace Sun, Apr 23 2006 16:12 Liverpool have agreed a deal for Argentina midfielder Leandro Daniel Somoza who will sign for a fee in the region of £2million. The highly-rated midfielder currently plays his football with Argentine outfit Velez Sarsfield but will arrive at Anfield in time for the start of next season. Rafael Benitez has been tracking the 24-year-old for some time and believes he will add more quality to his midfield as the Reds boss looks to try and close the gap on Chelsea next season. The arrival of Somoza could spell the end of Dietmar Hamann who could now be forced to look for another club when the transfer window opens. Somoza will be the first of many arrivals at Anfield this summer as Benitez looks to strengthen all areas of his squad.

  22. The main football paper (TIPS-bladet) reported on Tuesday that Liverpool are still interested, but not prepared to pay around £4,5 million right now for a player who has been injured for three months and is not ready to go straight into the team. A deal next summer is more likely... if Liverpool are still interested by then.
