PODCAST: Watford 0 Liverpool 5 - Match Reaction

Holy shit! A potential trap game turned into a walk in the park as the Reds' front three ran riot at Vicarage Road against a Watford side who didn't know what had hit them.

TLW Editor Dave Usher is joined by Paul Natton and Ian Brown to unpack one of the most enjoyable performances in quite some time. Bobby dazzled with a hat-trick, Sadio bagged his 100th Premier League goal and Mo... well how do you even describe what he's doing currently?

Unsung heroes James Milner and Joel Matip also receive their share of praise, while the lads also look ahead to Tuesday night's clash with Atletico in Spain and the re-union with a certain Uruguayan who broke Dave's heart and caused him to listen to Adele.

Love these. Perfect for my car trips. Kudos to whoever has mixed the intro/outro as well, the "corner taken quickly" and Aldridge's laugh gets me every time!

I normally disagree on quite a few of the points that are being made, and it's the same this time. It's just so good to be listening to local supporters discussing the team that we all love though. Much easier to get where you are coming from with some of your takes when listening rather than reading. This probably goes for podcasts in general, but it's been really good to hear the voices of some of the main contributors to the site over the years.

Keep them coming!

It’s great but it  sounds a bit just like friends talking about football doesn’t it ?

Enjoyed that again.

Kelleher was worthy of a mention considering we won't see him again for awhile. Obviously wasn't busy but done what needed to be done and done it well. He played one left foot pass through a gap on the edge of our box, that kind of pass would have drawn a huge intake of breath just 5 years ago but he makes look easy.

With all due respect, as this is a Liverpool FC podcast, I'd say the onus might be on the listener to get au fait with the Liverpool accent.

I wanted to mention him but had a technical issue and it then passed me by. Thought he was really good with the small amount he had to do, especially the save onto the post.

Looks light years ahead of Adrian as a back up.

It's all those LFC TV interviews with Carra and Stevie over the years. All of our non local fans can understand the accent without subtitles now.

Has anyone ever told you you sound like Gerrard?
