  1. Don't worry he'll set up a Gofundme and get the 3m required to hold an account and people will claim a moral victory without any hint of irony whatsoever.
  2. Hearing Farage referred to as a 'Disingenuous grifter' repeatedly on the news today has been a real joy in an otherwise unremarkable day. I hope it rumbles on...
  3. A Scottish Nationalist who wants to undermine Labour as they’re making ground up on the SNP would probably write something like that, if they were so minded of course…
  4. Fret not, the UAE will buy it and further lean into this Middle East pissing contest. Reports Bahrain are buying Blue Square North are off the mark at this point.
  5. Good job we're going to war with Argentina again soon, that'll put some fire in the loins of the patriotic faithful...
  6. No, idea, but Rishi is chirping off now... Culture war nonsense, ensuring that Farage doesn't go through with his threat of standing candidates, diminishing the 'elites' at Coutts. Absurd behaviour that two of the very limited questions today at PMQs were directly about this and now direct involvement from two of the most senior members of Government.
  7. 'After 13 years of Conservative government, the poorest in society officially have the lowest share of total income since records began, ONS data has shown. Figures published this week show the richest fifth of people’s average household income before taxes and benefits was 14 times larger than the poorest fifth. Original income inequality (before taxes and benefits) increased by 1.6 percentage points to 50.2 per cent between the fiscal year end of 2021 and 2022, while final income inequality (after taxes and benefits) increased by 0.6 percentage points to 29.9 per cent.' https://www.thelondoneconomic.com/politics/mission-accomplished-poorest-brits-officially-have-lowest-share-of-total-income-since-records-began-352936/
  8. I think the biggest take away from the Farage nonsense is that Coutts has a wild sense of humour. Coutts, inclusive? Excellent trolling.
  9. This feels like a concerted effort to destablise us now. Captain, midfield essential cog and potential break out star? Both teh original deals looking ropey and this new one is an insulting fee.
  10. How this discredited harpy is allowed anywhere near grown up conversations is fucking astounding.
  11. Oh, this is quickly moving into 'running saga' stage and looks to have enough legs to keep cunts calling each other cunts all summer. Excellent news...
  12. These cunts I had against my better judgement yeasterday, fucking awful. I'm not one for hyperbole, but whoever came up with this abomination is probably worse than Hitler and deserves a slow, painful and public death.
  13. My mistake was trusting her to have tea on the table and she fucked that up by prancing around in her skimpies all day. I may be projecting…
  14. Imagine coming home to that? Shes been twatting about all day trying to get the perfect picture for instagram, the house is a tip, the kids have been abducted due to gross negligence and your tea is a Pot Noodle you picked up from the BP on the way home knowing this bullshit is your lot. Fuck that.
  15. As you always say, 'we' were conditioned to accept this and it's going to take a long fucking time to rid us of that, if its even possible.
  16. This is what gets me the most about the utter fucking joke that is politics and political discourse in the UK over the past decade or so. Johnson, a man who has at least EIGHT children can stand on a position and platform of population control with a straight face and be taken seriously as the people are lacking in the critical thinking ability to notice the wild inconsistancy in the person and the position. Absurd.
  17. It was always enivitable. If we work on the 33% principle it makes sense. 33% of the population are vehemently in favour of it, 33% want to be told what the think of it and the last 33% find it abhorrent. The first 33% you'll take 5, maybe 10% max from, though on current polling it's more like 12%, and even more with those Tories who will not vote and stay home. Second 33% you're looking at better numbers and around the early 20%s based on current polling and intentions. The last 33% you'll take 20% minimum from as either people vote through muscle memory, or know that there isn't another option. That's 45%, minimum, of the voting public, enough for a decent majority and you can't do shit without that. Laura Kuenssberg on Sunday was asking Starmer why he hadn't done anything about the utter mess we're in? Simple, he can't, and won't be able to without winning the election which as we all know was always stacked against him, but now looks like a possible reality and needs to happen for the good of the country because we sure as shit can't continue with the shake down which has happened over the past few years.
  18. As if you couldn't love the guy anymore... Of course he wears Copa Mondial boots!
  19. You couldn't make it up, just melt him down for glue.
  20. There’s a bigger geopolitical issue at play here. As member we have a veto on nations joining. As part of Japan playing their party in fast tracking this, and the heavily weighted trade deal with them also, we have agreed to block entry to China with our veto. This will obviously have repercussions further down the line with trade and political issues with China. We’re now chasing shadows and an international patsy. Brave, Keni! All for a cheap headline.
  21. Fabinho was pretty over the radar when we signed him, United we're trying to get him before we got in quickly and got the deal done. It was a suprise to us as we hadn't been linked.
  22. Yep, the problem with it is the very wealthy don't pay it, and they should as they have extracted the most from the land and should pay that premium. They have the better accountants/advisors though and just place in trusts and other wheezes. The 'middle' class that actaully pay it are pretty regular folk who have a house and a few other assets and lose a lot based on the idea that a house that has gained value is profit. It's an absurd tax at it's heart and targets the very people the Tories claim as their grassroots. The Trot in me says any profit post death is theft, the realist in me says there's a much more nuanced and better argument to be made about those who have removed the most wealth from the collective endevour. Who'd a thunk this was difficult? The 'cleaner' route is corporate gains, but we all know that...
