Couldn't find the Owl thread.

I went to see me mum in the home yesterday and she was watching an old 60s music channel and I'll Never Find Another You by the Seekers came on and she was singing along to it with me joining in with the odd line which was nice yet sad. It's funny how they remember some things and not others , she keeps a book of Steven Gerrard in her drawer saying she used to know him but she's getting mixed up with St John but you've got to smile and go along with it, a strange thing Dementia. A nice moment anyway .

2nd yesterday grrr.

Three Minutes on BBC4 Storeyville last night was quite good, I can't remember the name of the Polish town where the short film was shot but seeing all the kids acting up before the camera and other older people staring at it was quite eerie and very sad in the knowledge that within a few years only a few survived the horror after the German troops arrived , 100 out of the population of 3000. Grim.

I'm dreading my train journey to Liverpool next Monday, I haven't done it since before Covid, I'm looking for the best ear plugs so I can cover them with headphones and then blindfold myself so I can't see or hear anyone for four and a hours. She reckons I whinge to much and might have a condition ending with ism and would happily knock me out for the journey.

I got the lyrics wrong there, it was a long time, just listened to a few tracks off Deja Vu and yeah the word there on Country Girl , what a bastard another one goes from the songbook of your life if you will.

Never knew that, John Martyn done some decent tracks particularly on that album I seem to recall . Grace and Danger was another with some nice tracks on it too.

I used to listen to that a lot and a couple of other CSNY albums but not so much on their solo albums apart from Young and Stills. Four Way St was the live one i think but can't remember the other, it had Wooden Ships on it?
