I saw Training Day at the pictures, and have watched it a few times since, but didn’t know either of them were in it. Snoop Dogg played Huggy Bear in Starsky & Hutch but wasn’t a patch on Antonio Fargas.

Fair points, but it’s not cut and dried, in my opinion. Clemence didn’t wear gloves at the beginning of his career, then wore gloves that were far inferior to modern ones. There was far more aerial play and crosses in Clem’s day, and he had to contend with brutal, old fashioned centre-fowards with far less protection from referees than modern-day goalkeepers receive. Balls back then were an absolute bastard when wet and cold, and the mud baths for pitches were a nightmare.

Clemence and Hansen are in my top 5.
