    I think these sigurdsson to spurs stories are a bit fishy...they dont have a manager at the moment, their best player(s) are going to be leaving, and they didnt make the champions league...so i dont see whats the rationale in him going to spurs instead of us where he knows that hes got a manager who knows his playing style

    absolutely gutted, but carroll's performance really has won him over for me. He won everything, he was around putting in tackles, and had that inspiring effect, something you would expect of stevie. I really hope this is the making of the beast, because he was simply beast today. However, some change is needed, and needed drastically.

    Although it will be the best for both parties realistically and practically, I really dont want Dirk to go. He's become part of the club, like Sami, and im sure he doesnt want to leave either...not now at least.

    good report dave just one thing i noted - that carroll goal was his second headed goal for us in 50 games. For a guy who was bought to use his forehead as his main weapon, its a strange stat....

    guys - lets just put aside our misery and dissapointment and think for a bit. This is Liverpool Football Club - no matter what, we will never be down in the shits for long. were not a leeds, where a matter of a year or two with a shite owner resulted in relegation. No. We will pull through, whether it be kenny, a new manager (like benitez) or something else. Think about it guys. Why is it that after the carling cup, we started losing our marbles? This is not a case of kenny losing his dressing room. This is a case of extreme complacency, and an acceptance of mediocrity that should never be there. We did so well at the end of last year because we had no pressure and the players wanted to prove a point. Today, what we saw was just, and i say it with conviction, a lack of desire. These players dont have any more motivation. Except maybe suarez and gerrard. We dont have many games left to sort it out but were not going to get 4th in any case. However, ripping on the manager and the players will solve nothing. This is the same team, that were doing so well at the start of the season, minus the home draws. Just please, clear your minds and think logically.
