  1. surprised so many good looking tarts would want to knob that willy woofter...must have a well paid job.......
  2. will check my local one in stockport later..
  3. quite right....we play at anfield... former home of the bitters... should we move because of that?? we played in a similar shirt for 4 years... so whats the problem?? not that i have ever bought shirts but if i did this is "our" shirt...be proud to wear it.....
  4. going back a long way.... tony hateley....
  5. one from the past, soon to be rectified...ee aye addio, we won the league!!!
  6. dont agree there, kelly will start next season at rb.. only for his injury,i think we could have been 4th... johnson ,for me was far better at lb than rb... but that was not hard... once kelly got in the side, he was there to stay... think and hope he will end up like carra....
  7. so i can now tell the folks i am officially and exactly... "55" year younger than us.... at 64 years old, i've seen the greatest football team ever, seen the best band ever, lived in the best place in the world, god how i miss liverpool..... but i KNOW i am a very, very, lucky to have lived in this era... long may it continue.... ynwa.....
  8. always knew we were formed in 1892 but only found out today that we were formed on this day, 3/6/1892... not great news really but it is MY birthday as well..... happy birthday to my beloved LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB..... going for a bevvy now..... ynwa.
  9. sad to say i use a similar thing when the scum/dung fans start the "19" crap... tell them, quite correctly, that the league title has been to ANFIELD more times than to old toilet...
  10. cheers, mate, glad there's a few of us still left.."king billy".. the real one... if my memory serves me right, callies 1st game for us was in place of billy... just to digress a bit... born and bred in anfield, oakdene road... left in 1971 for family reasons to live in manchester and then stockport... been to maine road, old toilet many times over the years..but i dont think the "hatred" between us and everton is anywhere near as bad as that between us and the "dung" and also between the dung and man city fans... not been to man cities new place for prem game, but been there for the reserves... stockport county might play southport next season... local derby!!!!!
  11. mistake??? what??? been watching us since 1956/7, the paddock!!! they were bad times, even tho' we finished 3rd or 4th for 7 years or so... i'm afraid you have to be realistic... these last years have have not been brilliant in terms of domination, but hardly "bad".. were we "bad" in 2005 when we finished 5th..... but still managed to win some other cup!!!!!! i was at wembley in 1965... think we were 8th in the league that season..but that fa cup was as good as any other we have won since... of the top of my head, i dont think we have finished lower than that since then... could be wrong, but if so, only by 1 place... so since relegation we have never had a BAD season!!!! ps went to school with joe fagan's son..... wrong forum... my arse....
  12. i checked this weeks ago on wiki...this takes in... league,fa cup, league cup, charity shield... us 47, the dung 52... thats domestic... other comps... c/league, cw's cup, uefa cup, super cup, intertoto, worldclub cup..us 11, the dung 7... in total us 58, the dung 59... got this from wikipedia.org/football-records or something similar... ps...next on the list is arsenal with 38...then the bitters/spurs on 24........
  13. agree, was made up to hear him say that...at least he has won something by leaving us, unlike some other little runt i could mention!!!
  14. a truly sad night... rip, ynwa.
  15. suppose it all depends on what you mean by "bad"...ok by our standards its not good, but "bad"...? by blackpool, whu, etc its been ok?? we cant win EVERYTHING all the time, but i know since we got promoted in 1962, we have not had a BAD SEASON... average, adequate, great, brill, magical, awesome.. the list is endless.... but "bad"... never... ps... hard luck the dung....
  16. whoops, was 1977 not 1983... old age creeping in.....
  17. the dung always seem to forget when they had to play at anfield and stoke in 1971 and at plymouth v st etienne in 1983 ish... just hope the film delves back to rome the year before....
  18. was off work.. spent most of the afternoon stickin lfcs stickers around my computer desk... dont know why...just fidgety.she did tea about 5... 5.30 couldnt stand it... drove to a club nearby...1 pint... no good... fidgety.. went to a pub who's landlord was one of us.... stayed there till 7... then home... loads of beer in,etc...watched it on my own upstairs, ceiling nearly came down... after the final whistle, phoned are kid up in anfield and literally just shouted down the phone..."FUCKIN HELL" what a night... did mostly the same in 2007 but never got to shout down the phone.......... shame...
  19. also, 34 years to the day ...ROME 77... never went myself, but me mum and step-dad went, flew from malta cos they were on holiday there... lived in stockport for 40 years and had a home made flag outside our house saying , LIVERPOOL FC AND ER11 RULE OK.... it was lizzies silver jubilee...
  20. reckon imogen thomas could take all of them in 1 night.....what a Gig that would be....
  21. very surprised not to see the spurs double winning side of 1961 and also the following season.. think this was about the time they beat the bitters 10-4 at whl, but could be wrong about the date...
  22. agree there.. how many games do the top clubs play on saturday at 3pm anyway? not many... still 2nd for me... but ynk....
