    Very depressing when you think real legends such as Tommy Smith have been forced to sell their medals to make sure their families will be OK. Although I'm convinced we'll be seeing a lot more "stars" going bankrupt once their playing days are over.

    I have no problem with Jimmy doing it. I've donated to projects on Kickstarter because I've wanted to see them succeed. If you want to read the book, you're just paying up front. It's a bit grim that he has to do this when even mediocre players in the Premier League basically win the lottery every year!

    Well, the media is going into a full-on wankfast about the return of the very special one. Wonder what would have happened if Suarez had openly gouged a fellow player in the eye? We would never hear the end of it but that's Jose for you - he's a genius even when he's assaulting people!

    Constantly moans about the media yet does "pound-note" deals for exclusive shots with his tame paparazzi. Cheated on his missus numerous times, got sent off for England in the World Cup for lashing out at another player and we are all supposed to love him. Yet Suarez is the devil in disguise. Although you have to hand it to him - Brand Beckham has done very well despite his limited talents when compared to other players.

    Over the last few years, the club has been happy to throw millions at players who should never have got anywhere near Anfield (Joe Cole, Konchesky, Poulsen, etc) yet they won't pay a decent price to working-class people for their homes. The various people in charge should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. Doubt they'll lose any sleep though!

    The club's behaviour towards the local residents has been absolutely appalling. It beggars belief that they are trying to get the houses at knock-down prices. For what LFC paid Paul Konchesky, I reckon they could have bought all the remaining properties at prices that the residents would be happy with.

    I'm still on the fence about BR although I cannot see why he has this brilliant young manager reputation. In my opinion, the main reason we are doing better in the league when compared to last season is down to Suarez not being banned for eight games. I honestly could not see Kenny doing any worse if he'd be given another season.

    I don't follow WWE so I don't know a lot about him... But Fandango has been trolling the bitters on Twitter after they posted this earlier today: "To those WWE wrestling fans who've requested Fandango's theme for tomorrow, we won't be playing it at Goodison. #efcmusic #efc" It's pretty amusing. He's posted a mocked-up picture of him holding an Everton kit complete with Moyes with the tag-line "Horrible." He's also just tweeted the LFC crest.

    I was watching the match on a stream (admittedly, a rubbish one) and I kept thinking the commentator was mixing him up with someone else due to the massive amount of hair.
