The Ultimate Beer Thread (No Carling allowed)
Penfold replied to ISeeRed's topic in GF - General Forum
If you go over in the summer, head out to the Hirschgarten out by Nymphenburg (tram 17 from the centre) the beer is great and the food stalls are really good too. Also if your ever over in Berchtesgarten they have their own Hofbrauhaus with the brewery literally attached to the side of it, the beer is fantastic and incredibly fresh. -
You could see the way the squad developed from 2005, to the 2006 squad mentioned above to the team that came second in 2008-09. The manager then had a plan, not every transfer came off but a damn sigh more than does now before C&A really fecked things up.

Is that what they try to tell us their net spend was in each season?

Wouldn't it be great if Rafa was like a cheat manager on FM, he starts bidding £40 mil for Downing, £60 mil for Carrol etc or offering Mata in a swap deal for Cole

When he was in Garlands, was it leavemyarcelona?

Not while there's Bruce, Curbishley, Keane & McCarthy still without a club.

I was let down the other night, Jan was on 5Live commentating on Wolves V Arsenal and Rambo admitted to being an Arsenal fan, he started supporting them after the 71 cup final. I was gutted!

I'm really disappointed on this. I thought we would have at least made a decision on this by now. I'm starting to get a bit twitchy on this. We need to make a decision asap as we are loosing out on a two weekly basis on a basic revenue stream against both manc teams, Arsenal & even Newcastle. We need to sort it out NOW! -

I've heard he's on his way to Inter Milan to take over running their typing pool from a girl called Maureen who's been offered a job in Spain.

Signing Barton would be worse than when we were going to sign Bowyer from Leeds - No Thanks!

He'd be useful as Pepe's understudy, play him in the League Cup next year and the early stages of the Europa League!

Ha! Wouldn't have been able to spot you as the number of cars with red Shell Island passes in was huge! We stayed the other side of Harlech, just by the toll bridge into Portmadog. Hope you enjoyed yourself as much as we did, first time in my life I've spent Easter Sunday on the beach!

BBC News - Aston Villa manager Gerard Houllier in hospital Aston Villa manager Gerard Houllier in hospital Aston Villa manager Gerard Houllier has been admitted to hospital, the BBC understands. It is thought he was taken to hospital in Birmingham during the night. He is understood to have spoken to the club's chief executive Paul Faulkner and his condition is said to be comfortable. Assistant manager Gary McAllister will take Thursday's training session. The club is expected to release an official statement later. Houllier is expected to remain in hospital for a couple of days and it is anticipated McAllister will take charge of the team on Saturday for their game against Stoke at Villa Park.
