  1. Murali for me. Fantastic bowler with a (World record) number of wickets and class and dignity that Warne could never compete with.
  2. It's great that he's made 800. I prefer him to that gobshite druggy Warne. Unorthodox action to say the least, but he can turn it square and baffle the best batsmen.
  3. just_me_tlw Just trying it out at the mo - I'm shit at this type of game normally (on PS3, etc.) Will play against some of you in a bit when I'm less of a fuckwit with the controls.
  4. Yeah - I've already had my 1st friendly and was all out for 66. They managed that with 10 wickets in hand in little over 11 overs. I'll have another search for players knowing the stuff you've just mentioned - age, stamina, etc. Cheers fella - I'll give you a challenge when I've got the hang of it. For now, I'm sticking to challenging those around my rating.

I've got a few 1000 bids in for 'competent' or better in batting & bowling which, if any of them go through, should raise my team a little. I have also fired 3 players who were 24/25 and going nowhere. What do you reckon? Am I doomed? Cheers.
  6. I've just joined as SuperJumpers. Because I'm too lazy to read pages 2-8, is there anything I need to know? Someone recap for me.
  7. I'm glad it's between these two as they've both been great to watch. I voted Spain for one reason - Robben. I couldn't stand that horrible little turd winning the World Cup.
  8. Does that mean the keyboard survived?
  9. I haven't seen anything mentioned about the difference betwen Foundation and Practitioner. When I did Prince2 a couple of years ago there was no new information to learn once you had sat the Foundation exam. The rest of the week (all of Thursday and Friday morning) was spent learning how to answer the stupid questions in the Practitioner exam. There were ones like this (substitute in some PM vocabulary): 1. Johnny likes crisps. 2. Johnny likes Mars bars. a. 1 is true, 2 is false. b. 2 is true, 1 is false. c. Both a and b are false. d. Both are true and 2 is true because of 1. e. Both are true but 2 is not true because of 1. As I said, the questions were obviously not based on eating confectionery but you should get the idea. If 1 had said 'Johnny likes chocolate' then 2 would have been true because of 1. These questions were a right pain. Anyone remember some of the other types in the Practitioner exam?
  10. I hope so! Like JMM says "We'll try to get by without you."
  11. This is nothing new - we all know what a lying piece of shit he is, so does everyone in football and the media. I want to know what SoS are doing to actively get these turds out of the club because it seems that they can sit in America spouting bollocks all they like as they really don't give a fuck what we think. All the while he is sat there claiming the club is worth 600-800m and that is what it will take for them both to fuck off. I don't have the answers but there must be more that we and SoS can do because he only reads what he wants and ignores the fans of all of his 'franchises'.
  12. Molby against Manure is a great shout Bex - fantastic closing down, a 40 yard run then a thunderbolt.
  13. But those 'substantial funds' will include new contracts, a couple of youngsters, some expenses incurred by H&G and a consultancy fee of £10m to Hicks's architecture firm or to pay off his son. Wankers!
  14. Surely nobody is surprised that we've got no money. Tweedledee and Tweedledum have raided the piggy bank - there nothing left except shattered dreams and empty promises. Get the fuck out of our club!
  15. To be honest, I have absolutely no fucking idea who Bolshie Bastard is. I typed shyte by accident - it was supposed to say shite (I also wrote wolrd instead of world - I apologise if my lack of typing ability fucks up your world). On topic, if you think Babel has done enough to deserve a special place in our thoughts because he "tried towards the end of our fucked up season" then that's fine. Personally, I think, he's shite (or even shyte).
  16. Damn! I hoped that having a good wolrd cup would raise his value to around £27.50 because he always tries when playing for Holland. At least there's no way his value can go down based on shyte performances.
