  1. Allison Trent Hansen Van Dijk Robertson Gerrard Souness Salah Dalglish Barnes Suarez Maybe recency bias edging out Clem on goal, Neal and Hughes for full back positions and Rush up front.
  2. He was making life difficult for Phillips too, cutting off passing lanes etc. Klopp was happy that we nullified him in the presser so I presume happy with Jota without the ball. The boy is proving to be a more than adequate "replacement" for Bobby now in most aspects
  3. Fucker is going to get himself sacked isn't he, the prick.
  4. Terry Mac or Keegan used to get in my team on the right. Definitely Mo now.
  5. Platini should be a shoo-in here. A mile ahead of the rest, and I'd be a big fan of Keane, Vieira and loved Laudrup.
  6. Reckless lunge through the air, out of control, leads to horrific injury - Red card. The pundits comparing it to other tackles that do not involve the tackler diving through the air, hoping he wins the ball and his out of control body does not injure the other player, are morons.

  8. Three, Van Dijk and Thiago in the Derby last year and the kid yesterday. All three were shocking tackles.
  9. The Mané tackle is different to the Elliot tackle. Strujik leapt into the air and was out of control and his hind leg with the full force of a projected 13 stone Plus, landed on Harvey's foot. The Scottish centre back didn't go through Mané. The red card is not for idea or theory of the tackle, it's that his hind leg went through Elliot when he had thrown himself through the air and bust the kids leg.
  10. By Jamie Redknapp maybe but not by the ref or VAR thankfully.
  11. Or just don't post it at all and enjoy your own moment and not feel the need to look for other people's affirmation
  12. Brolly is the Irish version of Piers fucking Morgan. The way he speaks you'd imagine he has a record equivalent to Spillane. He played in Croke Park 3 times in championship. He scored 2 points across those 3 games. That's an appalling record for a corner forward whose main raison d'être was to score. He wasn't a ball winner, he wasn't a creator as such. He was a scorer and he failed dismally in the 3 biggest games of his life. He is struggling to stay relevant. His ire was fixed on Cavanagh and Tyrone 10 years ago. He has now found another easy victim in Mayo and especially it's captain. O'Shea (scoring wise) and Mayo have a dismal All-Ireland final record but they have been underdogs in all but one of those finals and O'Shea has performed well in more than one of those finals, including yesterday where he was nowhere near the worst performer in a green and red jersey. He has won 3 all stars, one more than Brolly. He is 31 years old and his abilities are expectedly waning but he was picked as captain and as a starter by Horan, that is not his fault. Brolly then focuses his anger and outrage on James Horan. Horan took over an overrated, underperformed Mayo in 2010 and changed the culture turning them into contenders within 12 months and even after he departed, they remained there for 7 or 8 years. Most of the 2010s team needed to be replaced when he returned in 2019. He has since introduced a virtually whole new team while reaching 2 all ireland finals within 3 years, with a group who had little to no success at underage. Both Horan and O'Shea have contributed a lot more to the GAA in the past 11 years than Brolly and the man who regales people with story of "True Gaels" is a narcisstic negative disgusting man, us true Gaels could really do without. FTR - I have no skin in the game. I'm not a Mayo man. Just my opinion.
