  1. WWE has gone a bit shit lately. The 1000th show of Raw was good only for CM Punk turning heel. Since then though, and the increase to 3 hours, episodes 1001 and 1002 have consisted of repeats of the same things from ep 1000 (Brock Lesnar/HHH Summerslam announcement, CM Punk hitting the Go to Sleep on the Rock etc) and it's become a bit tedious. The CM Punk/Kane/Daniel Bryan/AJ story line was absolute shite and making AJ Raw GM was a joke as she is an awful character anyway. Daniel Bryan needs a good push as I think he has the capability to be a good character, but I think Raw is suffering big time and the over reliance on bringing the likes of the Rock back and wheeling out HHH for PPVs is starting to tell. Smackdown is a much better show now and the Sheamus/Alberto del Rio storyline has been pretty good. Nothing though will ever compare to the Attitude era and the Stone Cold/Vince McMahon feud. I find myself now, enjoying TNA a lot more
  2. All World Promotions. He was the manager of tag team The Prime Time Playas until he made some comment about them being unstoppable like Kobe Bryant in a hotel room.
  3. Going to the 8.40 showing in FACT on friday. My missus also bought me a £30 gift card for FACT for my birthday, solely for the purpose of going to see this film over and over again
  4. My word! This one thread encapsulates every reason why I don't really come on here anymore. So many friggin dickheads it's unbelievable!
  5. My band Oceanis' EP now available in full for free download. Oceanis's sounds on SoundCloud - Create, record and share your sounds for free We're also playing in the Zanzibar next Wednesday (4th) with New Zealand metallers El Schlong. Only £4 in
  6. Bump. My band Oceanis' first single Brotherhood single version by Oceanis on SoundCloud - Create, record and share your sounds for free
  7. Finally an Oceanis Ep sample for your audio delights Brotherhood single version by Oceanis on SoundCloud - Create, record and share your sounds for free
  8. I shall be posting links up to Oceanis' debut single towards the end of the week. Released on Thursday night in the Lomax. She 'Snub Fest' thread.
  9. 3 nights in the new Lomax on Cumberland Street. Starts tomorrow with my band Oceanis headlining the 'Metal' night. It's £2 in and is gonna be heavy as fuck. We're also giving away free copies of our single 'Brotherhood'. In the current climate of pay to play, pay to apply and voting systems for gig slots, Snub, in conjunction with WIRELESS MAGAZINE (https://www.facebook.com/wirelessmagazine?sk=wall), will be providing a non-judgemental outlet for local talent! Let’s stop the fighting amongst the bands. Let’s unite and bring camaraderie to the arts scene instead of bands fighting amongst themselves for a mediocre slot not even their mothers can be bothered to get out of bed for. And let’s face it, if you wanted to take part in a voting system, you’d have auditioned for X-Factor. With the sad closure of The Masque and The CUC, plus live music events ceasing at Mojo, Liverpool's music scene has been rocked. We want to champion local artists and give fans value for money. We have the first Thursday, Friday and Saturday of every month booked at the mighty Lomax and will be charging no more than £3 entry. We launch Thursday 2nd Feb kicking off with Metal Snub. The Day Will Come, Hollow Dreams, Scare Tactics and Hope Against Hope will be each bringing something a little bit different. Mixes of old school, tech, post hardcore and modern metal will all be on show. Oceanis take the role of headliners, but I don't think any of the bands playing would look out of place topping the bill. Friday 3rd Feb will see our Indie/Alt Snub show commence. The Temps, White Heat, The Fall Of Kings, Kush and Deltasonic's Sonic Faith are bands that are hard to pigeon hole but impossible to ignore. I think they all incorporate epic rock, indie and pop perfectly. And finally comes our Rock Snub, Sunday 5th Feb. Local hero’s Guardians (formally Hippys on the hill) will be bringing their fiery brand of high voltage rock, whilst headliners Always The Quiet Ones always ensure a frenetic live show. We Were Beautiful draw influence from every corner of the music industry and have already supported the likes of Deaf Havana and Lower Than Atlantis, whilst The Blackhand, having recently released their debut album 'Greetings, From The Bitter Sweet Edge' shouldn't be missed. The last band joining are Arkadiance, bringing their impressive, progressive rock. More Info can be found on their facebook page https://www.facebook.com/snublomax
  10. Gonna finally get some online action of this tonight i think add me on 360 if anyone wants. Gamertag is Cliff Bling
  11. Rules of Engagement (2000) Tommy Lee Jones, Samuel L. Jackson, Guy Pearce. Pretty good film to be honest, though Guy Pearce is an annoying twunt. 6.5/10 ************************************* Wall Street. Money Never Sleeps (2010) Nowhere near as good as the original but not bad 6/10 ****************************** Paranormal Activity 2 Shit. 2/10 ****************************** Return to Oz (1985) Fucking weird film. Love the shit 80s special fx, still prefer that over CGI nonsense 7/10
  12. One of teh stupid lollipop heads was in my work yesterday lookign at all the flashy cars, tops spec golfs, Touareg jeeps etc, had the salesmen running round in a flap getting finance quotes etc. Turns out she couldn't even afford a Polo on finance and the whole thing was for show. Stupid rat
  13. -------------- Doni --------------- Kelly --- Carragher -- Coates-- Aurelio -------------- Spearing --------------- Downing----- Henderson ------ Sterling -------- Shelvey --------------------- -------------- Carroll ------------------
  14. Sell. He's driven me round the bend for the last 3 season. Time to go and get someone in who can actually play on the right hand side, someone who can go past a man and make a cross. Someone who's 2nd touch isn't always an attempted tackle cos his first touch was just so utterly wank.
  15. The English media are vile, we know this. Holt, Barclay, Samuel. All of them are disgusting wastes of skin. Best thing to do is not to read the shite they print. I think the vast majority of people on here are clued up enough to see through their agendas. We just sing his name loud and proud every game and even louder when he comes back. I think Kenny's next presser will be interesting
  16. ---------- Reina ---------- Johnson -- Agger -- Skrtel -- Enrique ------------- Spearing -------------- --- Downing -- Henderson -- Bellamy --- -------- Gerrard --------------- ---------------- Carroll --------------
  17. I thought Carroll was better than he has been last night and Gerrard seems to be able to play the type of ball that Carroll needs. If he keeps doing that then i can see Carroll banging a few goals in. I'd keep him in the team now, give him a run of games, get his fitness up and see if he can start knocking the goals in.
  18. Wtf is Ultimate Team. Never bothered with it. How does it work. Help me!
  19. Bought this on Chrimbo eve. Just going throught the campaign first. Some proper good missions on it despite the indifferent reviews the campaign got. Once I've done that I'll be all over multiplayer. The graphics are proper good on it!
  20. Watched the trailer 4 times last night. Got a bit of a touch on. Cannot wait. I can see myself going the cinema quite a few times to see this.
  21. I'd keep it unchanged, though i can see Kuyt coming back into the team probably for Bellamy which would be a stupid idea but will probably happen. 2-0 Suarez, Shelvey 3 post hits, 9 cross bar hits and 2 off the line
