Why has the media blown up such a massive story out of nothing? All because Rodgers didn't say that Carroll definitely would stay, never said he was considering loaning him out or anything. Nothing will come of it, just an overreaction by the media.

Why should a team/manager change a style of play to suit one player? Especially when the player himself is less than mediocre? It is ironic West Ham should be the team he is linked with due to his best mate being there and also the Sam Alladyce style of hoof and loof football which will suit Carroll most. It is also hypocriticle of certain Liverpool supporters who now beleive Carroll should stay when these same Kop lot said he is crap and doesnt belong in a Liverpool shirt like some of the other Dalglish signings. This is a new era for the Kop so get rid of the dead wood and move on.

Liverpool are a funny team aren't they? They purchase the best English striker other than Rooney and then 18 months late want to get rid of him. Danny Welbeck is injury prone - its why mu wont give him a new deal yet, until he proves his fitness. I rather have Carroll than Torres at Chelsea!!! Get him on loan with a view to buy for £15m and it is an bargin!!!

I don't know if he is good. He never played for Italy in the summer and also in Roma he didn't do very well + he is unproven in English football
