  1. Reina adores the club and the city, he's going nowhere. While I think Torres respects Benitez I've been getting the impression he's becoming more and more frustrated with him. Benitez leaving will have no effect on Torres's future. Mascherano will stick or twist depending on what's best for him and his family. The only player that may leave as a direct consequence is Kuyt and that's because he'd realise no other manager would put as much faith in him as Benitez. All this talk about a mass exodus if Benitez leaves if bollocks, in my opinion of course.
  2. I'd probably go for someone like Michael laudrup. He's had a bright start in management and plays football the right way, both as a player and as a coach. My only worries are his relative lack of experience at a big club and the fact that he's got form for resigning after a season or two.
  3. I'm ashamed to say I feel exactly the same. I want us to give 100% and go for the win, but if we were to get a result, and I wouldn't be surprised if we did, I'm not sure I could deal with the over the top nonsense the media are going to come out with without wanting to break things. The thought of Neville punching the air in jubilation after we've put the title back in their own hands makes me want to puke.
  4. I can appreciate that, but the man is, at the moment, still manager of our club and it's all a bit odd that some people are showering him with the same vitriolic labels we normally reserve for managers of other clubs. I'm not sure about the 'Emperors new clothes' analogy, less than a year ago we were pulling up trees and playing some fantastic football. Obviously things have transpired and I do believe he's lost certain members in the changing room and while some of his decisions have always been odd, this season they have been downright erratic. Our decline happened so fast I don't know what to put it down to, but the buck stops with the manager in my opinion, regardless of off-field activities. He needs to go, for our club and for himself, it just doesn't seem right calling him this and that.
  5. I like Benitez as a man. I respect what he's done for this club, and regardless of what some people think, he has done a lot. That said, I do think the time has come for a parting of the ways. Things have run their course and I think he's now incapable of moving the club forward. While not a memory as such, or at least not yet, the thing I appreciate most is bringing Torres and Reina to the club, something not a lot of mangers would be able to do. Like I said, things have run their course and it's time both parties moved on, that said there is a shocking lack of respect for Benitez being shown at present.
  6. Gulacsi is Hungarian and is on loan at Tranmere. I can't imagine the club selling him as he's highly thought of. Mihaylov was Bulgarian and joined Twente on a permanent deal after being there on loan, the fee was about £1.5m. We also have Bouzanis who is on loan at Accrington and Martin who has been on loan at about four or five clubs in the past three years. I can't see the latter making but Bouzanis is decent.
  7. Well Reina hardly gets injured so if Cavalieri does leave I'd be happy having Gulacsi on the bench.
  8. I don't know if anyone else was looking forward to this album, but it's leaked. It's only 160kbs but it's perfectly listenable and on first listen it's a belter and this is from someone who didn't like Boxer until it grew on me.
  9. Well you can only beat what's in front of you, but I'd be absolutely livid if I was a West Ham fan. There fighting for their survival but they've shown sweet fuck all. We're winning this at a canter at present, probably couldn't ask for a better game before a long journey and a semi-final.
  10. How are you trying to burn it mate ? It should just be a case of downloading the ISO and then burning it as an ISO (not a data file) very slowly.
  11. So is Venice the penultimate City ? If so how long are you there for ? I've only just arrived and hoping I've still got quite a lot of the game to go. It's a superb game and this is from someone who borderline hated the first.
  12. Although I haven't got there yet, Rome is the last city apparently.
  13. I've been using some sort of Linux distro for the past three years. I'm using Linux Mint Gloria at the moment which is built on Ubuntu 9.10's core. I've also used Ubuntu 9.10 and it's a decent distro, although like all Linux OS it's dependent on your computer's hardware. Your best best would be to download and burn a live CD, this let's you try Ubuntu without installing it so you'll be able to check if it's compatible with your set up. Bear in mind Ubuntu 10.4 is due for release at the end of the month.
  14. Really ? Hicks and Gillett haven't the slightest idea about football and they're going to walk away with a reasonable profit. Doesn't sound insane to me.
  15. I can't imagine the price being too restrictive as BarCap wouldn't of got involved if they were going to end up fighting a losing battle. It would be their resources and their reputation at risk. This talk about 'four times my investment' is just bravado in my opinion. It also shows what a contemptuous little snake this man is. We all have families and jobs but this club is still an integral part of our lives. Can anyone here picture their lives without it ? Hicks and Gillett haven't just been fucking over the club they've been doing the same to all of us, something they fail to realise. There's been times I'd dare not open a paper or switch on the TV for fear of what those two had planned. I'm cautiously optimistic that this debacle is coming to an end and SOS should be praised for their work and constant pressure. While they may not be the straw that broke the Camels back, they have constantly kept the issue in the mainstream and as such may of influenced people or at least opened their eyes. I don't think either are finished in Football yet, if they do make a profit I can see them popping up at some other club somewhere in the world and I feel extremely sorry for fans of that club.
  16. I've got it and it's a fucking blast to play. The control system takes a while to get used to but once your up and running you can do all sorts of crazy shit. Want to tether a bad guy to a gas canister and send him flying up in the air like a rocket ? Go ahead. Want to drag someone through the dirt, tied to the back of your jeep, Bob's your uncle. The grapple and parachute are quality and you can hijack an airliner mid-flight. It also has the island from Lost, the actual island with the hatch and everything. It's an absolutely massive game, I've wasted 20-odd hours on it and I'm still only at 17%.
  17. Despite having a few glitches and an annoying control system, Just Cause 2 is a blast. What other game allows you to tether an enemy and a gas canister together and then blast them into the sky ? What other game allows you to drag a member of the militia through villages tied to the back of your jeep ? It also has the island from Lost, yes that island complete with hatch. The game is absolutely huge with plenty of distractions that I think it would probably take close to 150 hours to get a 100%, and that isn't an exaggeration.
  18. I thought I'd never prestige once I got past level 70, I didn't really see the point and I knew I wouldn't have my ACR. But after arsing about with the AK-47 for a while I realised I was becoming bored so prestiged anyway. This has given the game a whole new lease of life and there is something liberating about running around like a madman with my UMP45 instead of trying to play tactically. I'm really loving this game once again.
  19. I'd imagine this law will get revoked the minute someone decides to challenge it in court. There are too many variables to determine whether an individual has downloaded something. For example someone could of hacked their wireless, I can hack a wep encrypted connection in less than twenty minutes using backtrack.
  20. I never noticed anything and I watched the whole broadcast. Edit:Aaah, only heard via an online stream then.
  21. I think Kuyt is a superb role model for a youngster, especially his attitude both on and off the pitch. Kuyt has had a few mares this season (he's not alone) but has always chipped in with important goals. I'd be pleased if my lad considered Kuyt a role model. That said I can't see him in our best eleven.
  22. Using Peer Guardian is a little like wearing a condom with holes in. It makes things marginally safer but it isn't overly effective. I'd consider myself a pretty heavy downloader and have been for years, I've never used Peer guardian and touch wood I'm yet to receive a C+ D.
  23. Here's another. Watch David Haye vs John Ruiz - Lord of the Ring Live Video Stream Online - Channel 1 - April 3, 2010
  24. From What I gather the player was booked, kept on arguing and then the ref pulled out the yellow card again to reinforce the fact that the player had been booked. He didn't actually book the player twice, just made sure the player knew he was booked. That's the tied in a bow explanation, the fact is if a referee pulls out a card twice he better be sure he's sending someone off. As it stands the referee is open to scrutiny and should have to explain himself. At best he's going to look like a fool, the other side of the coin is that he's a bottler. Regardless the whole episode was ridiculous and if one player went, both should of gone.
  25. Torres is a top tier player. If you put him up against other top tier players like Ronaldo, Rooney, Ibrahimovich and Drogba he's an angel.
