    the thing of it is... they can do all they want... at the end of the day they have proven one thing... that its all about the money... they dont really care about the club at all... if they pump money into the club they do it because they think were commercially viable and would provide a long term benefit to them financially... they have no affinity towards the club in any sense... its all just business... and if they ever felt the club isnt financially worth it... they would sell us without a second thought... and for that reason my opinion of them couldnt and wouldnt change...

    pepe didnt have his best season wif us this season.... yes he got plenty of clean sheets... but he just looked so rusty in goal... seemed so prone to mistakes which he wasnt making the season before that... and in that season he was amazing... world class... but not this season

    the thing that worries me the most is the fact that we seem so vulnerable at the moment... the team is in fantastic shape... but if we were to have some bad luck come our way and have a bad season... all the progress made over the last few years may crumble... the bank would take over the club... instability would rule... players would be sold... we may end up like newcastle... all very scary indeed

LOL... so like its a sad thing that other clubs have become wealthy and powerful? idunno what world ur living in mate but get back down to reality.... nothing is forever... the world changes britain was a very powerful empire once upon a time.... so was france... then americas turn came... now it looks like the chinese and indians are back... things change... get used to it sweety pie... no one has a god given right to be at the top or deserves to be there any more than anyone else

    exactly.... hey im from Sydney, Australia... and maybe i dont understand completely this animosity between liverpool and everton but ive never really hated everton... or even disliked them for that matter.... they have pretty loyal supporters and are a well managed club and in my opinion they are punching above their weight at the moment and thats admirable... its the mancs hands down for me.... i remember hating them even before i realised they were our major rivals... even before i understood why i hated them something about their team just disgusted me....

    why do people keep saying michael owen was so poor.... he wasnt... even when he went to real madrid... for the amount of pitch time his goal return was amazing... what ruined him is the fact that his constantly injured... seems to always be injured... but he was never a poor striker... lets get that straight at least

    yes an absolute tactical genius... im 22 years old and maybe havent seen all the other great managers that have come and gone but from what ive witnessed... his is the benchmark... simply the best... whatever side his gone into(sides full of crap players, good players, and world class players), his managed to make dramatic improvements... almost instantly. has an amazing ability to go into a team, identify the strengths and weaknesses of each individual, organize them in the most effective manner and make them believe in themselves...

    yes points wise it has been an amazing season... and to think at the beginning of this season there were still so many people saying rafa isnt good enough... i used to laugh when i saw those posts calling for rafa's head before the season had even begun... i think if it were up to some of those so caled fans of ours to make the decisions... this club would be in the mess that newcastle is in right now.... where are those fans now? there just waiting for next season and if this team slips up even slightly, there heads will be popping up out of everywhere ready to point it out and magnify it by a 1000 times and say rafa isnt good enough.... fickle fickle fickle... what else can you say

    i dunno why people are surprised by this... i remember a few years back i read this story about a man in europe(i think germany to be exact) had this fetish of being eaten alive :wallbutt:.... so he put up an ad on the internet for anyone willing to eat him... sure enough a man who had a fetish of eating someone responded to the ad... and the rest they say is history... really.... i dont think anything can surprise me after that isnt the world just a weird, whacky and wonderful place

    ive said it before and ill say it again... i honestly dont believe ferguson is a great tactician... certainly no where near as good as benitez i think at the very least, we would have played just as good as them... if not better throughout the match

    i remember the second we won the penalty shootout in istanbul... the first thought that popped into my head was... owen must be kicking himself right now... it felt so satisfying to know how much he must have been regeretting his decision to betray this team.... but now i just feel sorry for him... meh... life is such and such is life

    see its not that it was a bad season... i think the major fact in most of us looking at this season as a kind of failure is the fact that mancs have won it and equalled our record... im sure if chelsea had won it instead and the mancs came third.... we would be looking at all the positives of how much we have improved this season and how we seriously look like title contenders for the first time in a very very long time... but its just hard to see all the positives when ur looking at that table and the mancs have beaten us and equalled our record... very hard indeed

    exactly.... if it was anyone from any other club... we would be stating what a disgrace they are blah blah blah... but when its carragher suddenly it shows why his the heartbeat of this club... bullocks he took it too far in a heated moment... and im sure he regretted it after... end of.

    lol... mate have u watched carra in the second half off this season... his losing his way... he used to be so reliable and consistent... making far too many mistakes lately for my liking... i for one wouldnt complain one bit if agger and skrtel are the first choice CB's next season
