    Yeh he did..thats never been done before. 24 league goals and 23 assists. According to wiki in 254 league games he had 174 goals and 77 assists. That is fucking phenomenal.

    I think it would be Robbie Keane all over again..just cheaper. If Alonso leaves this summer i'll be gutted and if Barry is the replacement i'll be even more gutted. That is not a swap we need to make. Maybe if he's dirt cheap add him to the squad in place of Lucas but no way should he replace Alonso.

He fell apart when Ramos benched him, how would he cope with Rafa subbing him every game and leaving him out? He'd never cope. And Spurs will want silly money,15M plus for him. He's under contract till 2012 so there's no urgent pressure on them to sell. Johnson is better going forward than Arbeloa but no way better defensively. Also a bit of an arrogant cunt by all accounts. Not sure he'd get on well here tho of the names mentioned he might be the most likely to end up here IMO. Barry won't play the same role here that he gets at Villa because we rarely play 442 and if we do he's not getting in ahead of Gerrard or Masch in centre mid. David Wheater? He's shite. End of. Michael Mancienne can't get near the Chelsea team he won't do fuck all here. That article and those targets are just a load of bollox. Not one of those players is significantly better than what we have.

    Did make me laugh when he had a pop at Benitez but then in the same interview started eulogizing Gordon Strachan. Whatever Rafa does here he'll do a better job than Strachan ever would have.
