  1. Never say never. I have my ticket for the Fiorentina game ready, even if we can't go through, true fans will be at Anfield that night and win, lose or draw tonight, it will be special.
  2. my point exactly. I don't give a toss what your mate said in the pub last night, i don't care what you heard on city talk or what Hansen was saying on MoTD. I've heard it all before.
  3. Got to love fans using Lucas as a scape goat... again. The lad was knackered about 60 minutes in on Saturday, first half he shitted all over that bald cunt. However, Ireland has the fitness levels of a mountain goat its worrying. He isn't a better passer than Lucas, his tackling isn't better, his ball control isn't better and hes considered one of the finest young midfielders in the premiership. How does Lucas continued to get slated so? He has been our best midfielder so far in the season no doubt about it. P.S he needs to improve his fitness levels haha.
  4. its a fact, most football supporters are whoppers they think they understand they pretend to their mates they understand, they pretend to radio phone in's, if they ever met a football out they'd brown nose the hell out of them with their "expert knowledge" on the game!. Its sad but true, even a lot of match day going fans annoy me, they haven't a clue and just shout random things because everyone else is. Bunch of gob shites. Just realised this has turned into a rant, i will end by saying to these fans of Liverpool and other football clubs, to stop myself going mental, i just chuckle at you. Then also realise myself as if i have any idea what Rafa's tactic's are, what he says to the players, the way he conducts himself in the dressing room and the training pitch.
  5. Ha, class. All a bit of harmless fun.
  6. Its clear to see hes a big character at Liverpool with all the lads and coaching staff. However, the man possesses absolutely no footballing talent what so ever... Example 1) Rafa to Dirk "Dirk i want you to run onto a ball" *prompt Kuyt getting the ball stuck under his feet. Example 2) Rafa to Dirk "Dirk, i want you to receive a pass from one of our midfielders and for it to stay within a 2 yard radius of you!" *prompt Dirk Kuyts second touch a foul/tackle. Example 3) Rafa to Dirk "Dirk i want you to pass a ball to someone that's not traveling at 90mph." *prompt the ball going any where but the intended target. Example 4) Rafa to Dirk "i like you, you work hard, your my starting right winger!" Example 5) Need I continue...?
  7. ha ha, do what you must mate. I agree that people who listen to it on the radio tend to not really understand the events that have happened on the match. However, they hear everyone else slandering the same old shite and they feel informed and well educated about their football club Liverpool f.c if they can get on a phone in and repeat it all again.
  8. Its a free country, everyone is entitled to an opinion. You make not agree with it. However, unless you can physically prove them wrong with quotes and figures from else where. ... unfortunately. As most people are mahoosive whoppers and talk complete nonsense!
  9. Never mind hey? Deemed to mediocrity Everton F.C. Let them have their little petty chants and there small time mentality. Course your as good as us boys.... *tussles David Moyes' hair*... sends him on his way to play out with his pals Fat Sham and Slur Alex.
  10. I beg to differ and my Everton mates never let me forget. On derby day they are always quick to whip out the picture of Gerrard in his Everton kit around 5/6 years old stood next to a couple of trophies Everton won. Can't remember which trophies, i'll try and find it for you.
  11. The guys been mentioned but Igor Biscan the man wouldn't look out of place with a flat cap on and a trench coat in the middle of a farmers field piecing together a scare crow, hes an absolute hero and will always hold fond memories of him. Another in my mind is Titi Camera, he had pace, skill, power and an eye for goal. Final one Oyvind Leonhardsen - cracking little norwegian, pace, bags of skill and scored some important goals. One of the few good Roy Evans signings.
  12. If they want to be tits, let them, my brother is a city fan, hes there on saturday. I'll be there and we'll go match together and go for a pint together afterwards. Makes no difference to me.
  13. Win every competition we're still in? Your sincerely, An optimistic red.
  14. I heard the players saying they didn't want to win the champions league this year and that the europa league is where its at this season...
  15. In the words of Bill Shankly "Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that." I as many other reds adhere to that and yes that means I am in a stinker of a mood today.
  16. Agreed. Lucas is good player, not a very good player and not a game changing one but he is only going to improve and prove all you doubters eventually wrong. His tracking back has been top notch alongside his new passing range and his bursts forward. He has been far better than anyone else whose played in centre mid so far that includes Gerrard, Mascherano, Spearing and Aquilini (albeit for 15 minutes).
  17. might as well win it, its silverware at the end of the day.
  18. Lucas Leiva, Liverpools finest midfielder this season without doubt. Still no Xabi though, however he'll only improve.
  19. Sorry, however, its a stark realisation that David Ngog is the 2nd best striker at our club (if you don't take into consideration Dirk Kuyt). He is better than Babel and Voronin.
  20. Ngog 3 goals 7 games. Not a bad return.
