I agree totally. I trust in Kenny judgement and the King has the ability to make players run off confidence alone. So thats why I think Carroll could be good for us. But i'm not expecting loads. I am hopefully and 400% supportive, but as a realist, I can't lie and pretend that I am dead cert he'll become a success. Also, this 'great touch for a big guy' stuff; i just dont see it. Carrolls ball control seems largely off. But that is one thing I think may come with match fitness.

Joey Barton Have heard the same from somebody who never gets involved with rumours/silly season. He is a newcastle fan and the only other time he's told me a rumour was with Carroll and he got it spot on.

Dominos basically owns all students at uni, they're completely caking it. Though, when back in Leeds, 100% the best pizza place ever is called Harpo's. Im glad, though, that we know for definite now whether CL is a possibility or not. Id rather this than getting stung on the last day, with hopes high. City are absolutely dire and have no cohesion in their team at all. They have a squad which should have qualified very very comfortably. It makes me laugh when people talk about this third massive spending spree this summer as if we should be really scared - the truth is, the money is only dangerous in the right hands. Unfortunately, I don't think they have said hands. What City lack is cohesion and a team identity. These are both things that are most likely to be hampered, not helped, by a £200m spending spree. When a player like Tevez is you're captain, you're setting yourself up to fail in my opinion. Well done to them - but I say that with gritted teeth mostly due to the derision I treat their fans with. I have a feeling they will fail spectacularly next year.
