Also well worth a look is: "Brotherhood" (2006) A little like the Soprano's without the humour. Based in a Rhode Island Irish neighbourhood and starring Jason Isaacs from Childwall. Annabelle Gish is an outstanding MILF too.

"Generation Kill" (2008) Not sure if or when 'Generation Kill' is scheduled for a screening but it is floating about on certain torrent sites (PB). If you're looking in that direction, I heartily recommend 'Breaking Bad' too. "Breaking Bad" (2008) A mini-series with seven 50 minute episodes. I enjoyed it so much I couldn't turn it off and watched the lot in one sitting.
