    Seen something on my twitter timeline that they're looking for Cabaye aswell. Him and Ozil would be excellent signings for them, I'd rate that Summer as better than Spurs to be honest by a good distance. Who knows what'll happen though.

    I agree with Code on this one, Zenit may be cunts, but here we go making a big deal presuming Zenit will racially abuse our black players and then we'll just play on regardless of what happens.     I like him. But always likely to be a tough season. I don't have a problem with him saying we should be aiming as high as possible. I do have a problem with us being comprehensively beaten by the youngest Villa side ever at home though.

    As a stats lover, surely you can see their is a very small sample size to your stats, it's the 2nd week of November, sure things haven't been good with regards to results, but have to look at the bigger picture really. Not saying things are acceptable, but the cards that Rodgers has been dealt for this season, was hard to expect a great deal of success imo.

    Thought Enrique was our worst player, absolute shite, another player we need to upgrade big time (ok reading that back it's harsh, he mightn't be up to speed yet, but he's absolutely hopeless in possession). Bringing back Riise and Dudek would improve us still, 7 years after Istanbul. Lucas will be a huge miss again. Don't need to mention our problems up front. We need someone AHEAD of Suarez, someone to give him SPACE and another option other than running into a wall and losing possession. Gerrard needs to be dropped for Shelvey for the next game. Positives for this season : Shelvey, Sterling and a few others should all develop into good players for us in the future. Negatives: Probably going to be worse than last season. Actually, extremely likely.

    Suarez gets injured or continues to hit the bar or goalkeeper repeatedly. Carroll starts scoring key goals for West Ham winning them vital points and becomes a hero down there. Inevitable so everyone can piss themselves even more at us.

    We're just a very shit version of Arsenal now it looks, owners will be happy as they are the club they aspire to be. Ambitious. Also, Arsenal have to pay off for their stadium, we don't have that excuse.

    No CL football... mediocrity guaranteed for the club in the future. Will probably put in a cheeky loan bid for Djibril Cisse and give them Joe Cole, Henderson, Suso as part of the deal (owners would be happy anyways, less wages, striker in, talented youngster leaving to sweeten the deal would be something we'd do)

    Brendan Rodgers knows his football doens't he? Deserves time to get things right here, it's gonna take time. Great stuff so far, gonna have to survive an onslaught this 2nd half I imagine at some stage.

    First goal in games is key obviously! That was a 1 in 50 or 1 in a 100 shot that flew in the top corner from Gera, Johnson put him under a lot of pressure too. Obviously extremely disappointing reaction to that goal, but it's our first game with new players and new manager trying to play a different style of football. I hate football and the reaction to results like this. Played well until they scored, had our chances, needed to take one really, worrying that Suarez started this season like last season missing too much, still love him though. Meh, I can't be arsed thinking about it, hope we get our confidence back soon enough and we'll look like a decent team I hope.
