    Hey folks... Spilled beer on my laptop a week or so a go and did the usual thing of jumping around the room frantically whilst trying to dry it and avoid the inevitable implosion... Anyway, I managed to save it, got my laptop keys/mouse sensor changed, but the guys at apple said that the beer will be corrosive and will eventually destroy my internal hardware. I assumed they were being twats and were trying to get me to fork out a shitload of cash for new hardware so thought I'd ask you guys what I should do? Will the beer REALLY start destroying my hardrive? It seems fine thus far...Is there a cheap option to fix it? Any help will be much appreciated.

    Ahhhh cheers for the advise mate (and to everyone else, too). I am going there with about £4000 and plan on getting a job pretty quickly after getting there. I was thinking of maybe going to Cairns to work for three odd months, then, as you say, making my way down south until i get to Melbourne (probably after about 5 months). How much were you spending a day on average, mate? Did your wages cover everything and allow you to save a bit for travelling? Also, what travel insurance did you go with? I'm thinking of working in Oz for a year, then going to NZ, then Japan and then back to England. Don't plan on getting home for a good 2 years or so. I hope I don't run out of money though...

    I think it is pretty shit and not exactly easy listening. But that's just my opinion. Funnily enough I have heard Tyler rapping without the stupid sound effects and shit simplistic beats and he is actually quite good.

    You guys should check out this MC, he is a great freestyle rhymer (All off the top of his head). I have seen him live and he is simply amazing, at one point he started picking random objects out of the crowd and making up rhymes about them. Quality.     Yeah, I suppose it's all about opinions mate, because I think England have some of the best producers at the moment (along with MC's). Check out Chemo's beats for example. Anyway, as I say, all about taste. I love Moment of Truth, too, such a beautiful song.     Right guys, so I have decided I'm moving to Australia for a year (maybe two depending on whether I can get a job in Agriculture that will allow me to extend my stay for 12 months) and was wondering whether any of you have ever been and, if you have, whether you could give me any advice on where to visit etc. My plan thus far is: Land in Sydney in mid-June and stay with some family members for a week or two. Then maybe stay in a hostel for a week...then after that I literally haven't got a clue. I was going to go down to Melbourne as I have a friend living there so it would be great to live near him and work in the city, but I also have friends and family up north (Brisbane area/Cairns) so I am at a loss. What would you guys advise? Stay up north during the winter months and then move down south? Anyway, if anyone has ever been and has any ideas then feel free to help a brother out!

Love 'Life's a Bitch' when, at the end, there is a three minute jazz/soul instrumental that just makes me want to sit back and smoke a massive spliff. Quality album. Also been listening to this guy's new album this week. I'm a big fan of Reks but I need to give the album a proper listen to before I can put my stamp of approval on it.     Lived there for a year and have traveled there a bit since. It's the most amazing city in the world if you know where you are going. Downtown is very much the business area and there are some good restaurants around there if you look hard enough, the Heat stadium is also there so if you fancy catching a game then that is where you want to go. South Beach has to be done but, as others have said, its a bit shit if you're not a rich bastard...still, worth having a look round. I would advise going down Lincoln Road (in South Beach) as there are some lovely restaurants and shops around there, not to mention lots of carparks! Coral Gables is another nice part of the city. I lived there for a year and loved it. Head to Coconut Grove for bars/restaurants/independent shops/beautiful mansions. Thursday night at the Grove is student night so f you fancy that sort of thing then head there. Also, there is an awesome restaurant there called "Knife", it is Argentinian and serves some of the best meats that I have ever tasted (all you can eat off the grill/a bottle of wine for $30). Key West is also a must, fuck South Beach for the sunbathing! They also have BBQ's dotted around the entire beach so get some steak and beer and you are onto a winner. Parking is also a piece of piss.
