there was a 60-40 that he went for in the first half; the Chelsea player slid in but he still went 100% to try to get the all and retain possession, eve though it was certain he would come off worse. That's not a typical winger. Good lad.

Forgot about GoW! Need a second job to afford them all now, but then that will leave even less time to play them.

My wages didn't go through this week because of an error in the system, so I have to wait until next week to buy Fable. But by then Fallout 3 will be out, and then there's Dead Space, Far Cry...

this has probably come up earlier in the thread but I'm too lazy and pissed to check and I couldn't see my mate's name mentioned for his joke so: Obama meets St Peter at the New Pearly Gates (they have been replaced after Mancs masquerading as Scousers nicked the previous ones) and tries to get into Heaven. St Peter is not too happy at another politician trying to get in, so asks him why he should be considered. Obama explains that he was the first black president of the USA and overcame institutionalised racism and gave hope to a new generation of black American males. St Peter is totally shocked that the USA has advanced so quickly along the scale of evolution (God was a secret Darwinist) and is totally won over by this, "Of course you can enter Heaven" he says, "but when did this happen?". Obama replies: "about 2 minutes ago"

Unlikely the Juventus Ultras will be holding up signs saying 'Remember Everton - the true victims of Heysel'.

Yes they would. You obviously don't understand the footballing Theory of Logical Progression: Win FA Cup > win Cup Winners Cup > win European Cup > establish all conquering dynasty. I think there's an algebraic formula that proves it beyond doubt, a blue I know told me about it. I couldn't understand it but he was very passionate about it.

I really feel for Everton, though. They are right - it's extremely unlucky that their best teams coincide with two world wars and a football tragedy. Not quite as unlucky as the millions who lost their lives and 39 at Heysel but come on, Everton were building great teams FFS! Can someone tell me what the interviewer said to Gollum about the penalty because I could swear he said 'bordering on the criminal' but that can't be right because journalists are supposed to be objective.

Now he's at Madrid and doing ok, we should forgive his traitorous comments? I'm only asking this because LFC Online are saying he's an AOK guy and they seem to have no inclination he's spouted blueshite shite and cheered the Mancs. Should we be the better person and forget what his past transgressions or should we remember his Manc loving tendancies?
