  1. or the Witcher: Assasins of Kings. I've had this for a week but not been able to put loads of time into it yet, but must say I am enjoying it even more than ME3, more than DAO, and a hell of a lot more than DA2. Yes, and even more than Skyrim. I never managed to play the original PC game for very long because of owning a computer that was woefully underpowered, so it was great when this one was released. It's got the great voice acting of ME and Fable, and lots of space to roam around. The one thing that is annoying is the map does not help you that much but possibly that is what the developers wanted, so you have to wander around for ages. It has so much more depth than DA2 (very easy to do really), and perhaps more of the George RR Martin venal and traitorous world than even DAO had. What is great to see is that this Polish company has decided we are adults (to be able to buy an M for mature title), and can tolerate things that Fox News would condemn; the ME love scenes are tame in comparison, and the executions of the kings are very 'Game of Thrones'. Graphics are good and it didn't freeze as much as my PS3 Skyrim did. The Save menu was a bit confusing, throwing up loads of odd dates, so I just kept deleting autodsaves. Combat can be a bit hack and slash but you need to run away a lot as well at times or you will get totally Sinatra'd. Even though I'm only a short way in, I'd definitely recommend this. Apologies if there's a PC review elsewhere
  2. Well, he's no longer writing in the 'Premiership'; he's now in 'Beezer Home League South' of journalism. Well done Paddy, you've found your level; until you screw up again and end up writing for the Croydon Advertiser.
  3. To be fair, only Gerrard and maybe Bellamy will be playing for us next season
  4. Coop, as we had a lot of these players (Stirling apart) at a young-ish age, doesn't that suggest less than brilliant man management there, or is it the result of a culture that already existed in the Reserves?
  5. He isn't a Liverpool legend. When he retires people will judge him fairly, and he will become a legend when people forget how wobbly he is now and just look back at him in his pomp (c2005). It just seems that frustrations with his (now) limited performances are masking the fact that he was once a great player. You can't blame him for trying to eek every last bit of his Liverpool career, and he doesn't pick himself - we have a manager for that. Personally. I think he shouldn't be playing above Agger (when fit) in CD. I'd love to see him go out on a high, but not at the expense of us winning trophies. If we have to play Johnson at LB (cos Enrique is flakey) and Kelly at RB, then that is better than shifting Agger to LB to accommodate Carra at CB.
  6. Too true - weare really slow at giving the young players a chance. We seem to 'protect them' until they go stale.
  7. And yet you still drove her off? You should be negged for your abuse of the fair lady, but I'm betting you're not too arsed about negs by now
  8. I saw her in Sainsbury's - she's not as ugly as she looks on tv. In fact she's fairly decent off screen. She must have scrubbed up well or something
  9. to get more forward passes you need more players forward, and we usually don't have more than 1 or 2 players in the box when we are attacking
