Winter very conveniently ignores the fact that in Spain funerals generally take place within 24 hours of the person passing away and Rafa would not have got home in time anyway from Japan. Displyed on the wall outside the Oak on County Rd/Walton Rd I saw a 'banner' with the inspired slogan - 'bitter and twisted and proud of it'. Just about sums them up. Had to laugh when they released the blue and white balloons when the shite ran towards the Anny Rd. Thats usually the thing done by lower league clubs fans when they come for a day out and know they're going out the cup. As for Gollum saying they have Dignity at the hovel - how much dignity did cahill and lescott show when the scored? How much dignity did their bench show when they scored? How much dignity did they have singing the SG 'songs' and the pushing gestures. Gobshites. Never allow them into our ground again. I dont know why there was a draw for the next round as clearly they have won the cup - cue final whistle celebrations etc - and are planning the open-back transit van parade around Kirkby. Rafa was right - small club.
