We`ve just spent millions strengthening the squad, two good players for each position and all that, so the injuries excuse won`t wash I`m afraid. I think we can win the league but only if we abandon our cautious approach to games, especially v the lesser sides. Positive attacking football is the way to go.

Sorry there can be no excuses, Sheff U are shite and that was 2 pts dropped. The players out there today were good enough to win and should of done. Unfortunately there`s no time for the new players to settle in, every point is vital and every match is important. While our players are settling in we could be out the CL and way behind in the league. I`m convinced we`ll have a good season but if we don`t play well like we didn`t today, lets all be honest enough to admit it. Some of the excuses on here today are laughable, especially the grass was too long one.

He`s deffo better in the centre, it`s his position ffs. 2nd half today I thought he left Kromkamp over exposed and the team unbalanced by keeping coming central. With Pennant on board there`s really no need to keep playing him there. I agree with Roby that sometimes he needs to play with more control., he over hit so many passes today. Still a great player tho.

I thought our biggest problem today was one of atitude.We started the game like we only needed to turn to win.When we started playing at 0-1 we had them on the rack,equalize and then stop playing again.If we had shown the same desire and intent from the off as we did when behind we would of won comfortably.I don`t really think the line up or formation were a factor as much as complacency.Fucking infuriating. On a brighter note, I thought the new players looked very promising and I include Agger in that. I think we have the makings of a really formidable side over the coming months, but we have to put inferior teams like Sheff U in there place.
