Received the same email. Concluded faster than I thought it would. The no liability thing was always likely to be part of the settlement. I doubt we will get much compo after the legal costs… would have preferred UEFA accepting liability tbh rather than compo but then I guess the lawyers wouldn’t get their slice. Hence it was settled quickly without uefa statement of guilt.

Now we have a situation where it could be one of each… or even more.. he, she, it…

I've lent out my season tickets to a few forum members over the last few seasons due to the fact my job has me working away (different continent!) a lot now. I'm debating sharing my season tickets this year. I have two seated together in lower centenary. Has anyone else done or doing this? I would guess that I would get to around 50% of the games.

I got the renewal email last night. £780 for lower centenary.

I received a letter from LFC last week asking me to phone them. When I rang them they offered me the two season tickets I was down for since 1998. When I asked if I was at the top of the list he said no. He said they had a list of people whose original application had been messed up and thus dropped off the waiting list only to be put back on at a later time. This makes sense as I wrote to the club about 5 years ago to see where I was on the list. After being given the answer 'nowhere, who are you?' and 'what's your reference number', I had to provide them with a letter from 1998 that didn't seem to have a reference number but did confirm that I had been placed on the list. This was about 5 years ago now and they confirmed that they had added me to the list again with a note to say I had been waiting since 1998. I just think the whole waiting list thing has been an unmanaged mess for years just like everything else at the Club. It seems as though they are now getting their act together off the pitch (and on it :drool:) .

Apologies if this has already been posted. Fernando Torres is being quizzed by Chelsea over an interview in which he appeared to criticise his own team-mates. Torres spoke to the official website of Spain's Primera Liga last week, with an English translation later appearing on the striker's personal website. Torres, who has endured a miserable run in front of goal since his £50 million move from Liverpool, was quoted as branding Chelsea's "older" players as "very slow", and hailing new team-mate Juan Mata as a necessary signing. Manager Andre Villas-Boas sought an explanation from Torres, who claimed his words were not translated accurately on his own website. Chelsea are seeking to obtain a copy of the interview in its original Spanish, and Villas-Boas revealed he would warn Torres not to speak so candidly about the club in future if the translation did stand up. He said: "We are going in-depth to regain the tape of that interview. We'll see if things play exactly as they are in that interview." The interview was authorised by Chelsea, otherwise Torres would have been facing a fine. Asked what action would be taken if the translation proved accurate, the Blues boss said: "We'd just talk. Just talk. To share opinion. If it was unauthorised, I'd fine him. Of course." He added: "Anyhow, it's one player's perspective. I don't think it's a perspective that the manager shares. LFC TV last night were suggesting he's at least a few weeks off from making a first team appearance - according to sources at Newcastle. Obviously LFC will do their own checks. I think this is a great signing. I trust in KK. Torres didn't want to be there. These two new signings should be more up for it.
