I expect you're right re there not being a main reason why Sterling has performed badly over the last 15 years although economic mis management by the Government will be up there along with everything else already mentioned Re Covid inflation that seems to be supply side related much more than demand side so QE, Furlough etc were marginally inflationary as opposed to the Supply Side Crunch which caused the majority of the damage

My Grandfather never talked about but I learnt that he went ashore at Juno beach on D day and survived the rest of the War.
