    They look ok, but sadly lacking in the sound department imo. Seriously if you are thinking of spending that amount of cash shop around and importantly try as many sets as you can and make sure you get the ones that meet your expectations.

    I've got a pair of Sony MDR V7's which l bought in 1989 ...still using then to date, still sound fantastic, although the fabric ear cover bits are shot, been meaning to look into getting some replacement ones.

    Guys, On Tuesday I'm coming up to Liverpool for the day with my family. I'm planning to drive to Crewe and leave the car there and catch the train to Lime St (the youngest loves trains). We plan on going around the city and taking a look around Liverpool One etc, maybe take the kids across the river. Also my Mrs's mum would love to go up to Anfield. Its about 3 years since l last went up, can you still jump on a bus at Roe St? l know back in the day l used to jump on a 17c to fazakerley l think. What number bus would l look for? ..........looking forward to it. Cheers.

    l tried some in an Apple store a while back, nothing special. You could pay a lot less for some that sound better.

    lf rumour is to be believed apple are not refreshing the iPhone at the usual time this year, i.e. late June/early July. If they do refresh this year it might be towards the end of the year, and then it may only be a hardware upgrade i.e. A5 dual core chip and maybe more RAM. Apple have been dropping hints that they want to concentrate on software this year, iOS 5.

    Listened to it just the once up to yet, l need to give it more listens. As you say, not as immediate as their debut album but it sounds promising.
