He did play well today, my concern with him is that he doesnt try to play the ball, instead he will try to block the attackers path to the ball, and with some of the quicker attackers they get round him or past him he is then likely to foul them. I was encouraged today because he seemed to attack the ball more, getting there first and not simply trying to let it run out of play or block the attacker.

I always thought we missed the boat in not getting Wesley Snejder as part of the Alonso deal, he didnt have the best season at madrid, but it has always been clear he is a quality player.
