  1. I've got an agreement with me mate made in 2000 that we're going in the fountain by St Georges Hall. Apart from that there will be much crying and much champagne. Please let it be next month.
  2. Agree completely. Everton contesting finals when we haven't won a trophy for years just ain't on.
  3. Of course they will and whatever happens we'll love them as much as ever and be eternally grateful we were lucky enough to be brought up as reds and not some other excuse for a football club. Whether football or non football related I am always proud how Kopites pull together. There is no other club like it.
  4. "Don’t let your heads drop. We’re Liverpool. You’re playing for Liverpool. Don’t forget that. You have to hold your heads high for the supporters. You have to do it for them. You can’t call yourselves Liverpool players if you have your heads down. If we create a few chances we have the possibility of getting back into this. Believe you can do it and you will. Give yourself the chance to be heroes’." Fucking come on. The southern fuckers won't know what's hit them.
  5. Never mind that bit. Is that piece on Heysel trying to suggest that we shouldn't be making a fuss over justice for the Hillsborough deaths because our fans were responsible for Heysel? Or am I reading it wrong?
  6. Very unlucky to get so close mate. I do asian handicaps usually doubles or trebles. Yesterday had Liverpool to win by 2 or more, Sampdoria draw no bet and Chelsea to win by 2 or more to pay out £800. You can imagine my face as Bolton embarked on a ridiculous comeback to wipe me out and then Chelsea still got the 3 points.
  7. Anyone got any fancies for tomorrow? Would really do with a winner or two to pay for the day!
  8. With the amount of goals our reserves score it's safe to say that's the end of that bet!!! Two mistakes aswell.
  9. Spearing roaring at Flora to get up after a ridiculous dive. Nice.
  10. True but they can't be any worse than some of the shite that's turned out this season. Surprised Weijl is on the bench he's looked dangerous when I've seen him.
  11. Nice one mate - evens with the draw covered so having a go on that. Sunderland apparently brought the kids down.
  12. Haven't got the team yet but they are 2.7 at home to Sunderland on bet365. Sunderland are favs.
  13. I get mine in the Sainsburys in Old Swan so I assume it's pretty easy to pick up in all supermarkets! Class pint. Also they do the "own" brands for most of the supermarkets for a cheaper alternative.
  14. I like following the trends so will go with those four also. Nice one Bobhorse. You doing a repeat of your Cheltenham previews? They were really helpful and definitely profitable so fingers crossed you are!
  15. Could the timing have anything to do with the fact the media are beginning to cover the disaster and a rise in public outcry could have put pressure on them to grant the inquest? Just a thought.
  16. Haven't looked closely yet but Ecuador are well priced at home to Brazil considering the altitude advantage. Likewise Peru at home to Chile. Should be some good ones around elsewhere. Bookmakers religiously price up internationals based on reputation rather than form.
  17. I think the crowd will be up for it today as we now have the "underdog" tag, siege mentality and all that. When we were top and coasting the atmosphere suddenly got really tense and the frustration passed onto the players. That's what I'm hoping anyway.
  18. Can't shake the feeling we should have the title in the bag. At least they've let us back in it though. Still a big gap to close but let's at least win every game and push them all the way. COME ON!
  19. Anyone else remember the exact draw being published on the net the night before it took place last year? Didn't get nearly as much coverage as it should have.
  20. Bit of lunchtime amusement.... Gala have had a defensive crisis and our favourite shit house winger has been playing centre back!!! Could well be there again for UEFA Cup game tonight!
  21. Looking forward to seeing Irwin play again. My personal view is he looks the most technically gifted of the reserve midfielders. Pacheco hasn't blown me away at all from what I've seen. Weijl has looked promising on a couple of occasions. Fingers crossed for a rare win!!!
  22. The sense of injustice survivors and families must feel is beyond belief. It makes me sick to the stomach to think of the accusations, lies and lack of justice brought upon those who were responsible and I have no direct link to the disastor other than being a red and a scouser. Things like: "We kicked another board over, but as it lay flat on the ground a policeman walked over and stood on it. "You can't just vandalise the stadium," he said." That just gets over the sheer hopelessness those involved must have felt that day. I really wish more people would read accounts like this and understand the incident for what it was. Sadly from my experience, the accounts of that newspaper and that of rumour have shaped people's "understanding" of the incident more than the facts. YNWA
  23. I'd find anyone who showed restraint when taking them apart as we did today embarassing. I was off in all directions Mascherano style!!
  24. I should have been on the winner with a name like that!!!
