I went to the Oval yesterday, i am a big cricket fan love test cricket never been to a 20 20 before, it was fucking amazing what entertainment ,some of the power these players are generating is awesome, Chris Gayle's inninings was the icing on the cake the oval is a big ground but he hit one out of the fucking ground, went with some people who are not big cricket fans but they loved it,i think it will be the death of 50 over cricket ,but test cricket will always have its place, great to see so many kids there as well

I for one at the age of 47 have seen both in their prime, i would have never believed i would make this statement but i think stevie is the best player ever to play for the reds,Kenny was my hero, still is , so it is a big thing to say and there many reasons for saying it ,two spring to mind Kenny was surrounded by not just good players but some of the best in the world, Rush ,Hansen ,souness, lawerenson, neal ,the list goes on ,Stevie for a lot of his time has been surrounded by very average players but you always feel if stevie is playing we have a chance ,the ammount of times he has pulled us out of the shit is incredible,and i bet if you asked king kenny he would agree

Its good fun to compare players from different era's the one thing i would say is Kenny and digger were surrounded by world class players ,stevie is with the odd exception surrounded by very very average players ,if you think of the times he gets us out of the shit and for how many years he has done it i think he is catching Kenny up fast and believe me that is something i would never ever believed possible

Exactly as so many people (incl me) put their faith in Blair despite the Labour Party behind him. I don't buy into this outdated class warfare that the Tories are all cunts etc etc. I have voted for all 3 major parties at one point or another. The 3 major parties are all fighting over the centre ground. Nothing huge will change whoever is in but I think the change of emphasis the Tories would bring would be better than another 5 years of Labour. I thought Blair was a good guy who had some good ideas in 97 (and I was sick of the Tories then). I'm glad Blair got in and if he hadn't fucked up with Iraq then i think his years would have been viewed more favourably than they currently are. I can't say Cameron has floated any specific policies that i think are great but I do think he has decent values and I share some of his gripes about Labour and the current state of the UK. For those reasons if there was an election tomorrow he would get my vote. He is my "best of a bad bunch at present". (Ideally a Tory Lib Dem coaltion with Vince in the Treasury would give me more confidence than Boy George). If his values are so decent why does he not answer the Drug issue when he is asked about it? blackburn were poor today ,having said that the second half performance was good gerrard was great again ,lucas had a good second half kuyt ran his bollocks of as usual but just when you think dirk might be the long term solution on the right side someone will play a ball to him and the ball will fly of his shin, same can be said for babbel. i really believe we are a just a few players short of being in the mix next year but the players we bring in must have a better first touch
