  1. I can't put into words how distraught i'll be if we lose this one. there have been too many near misses now, a lot of them in tragic fashion. I think a defeat here would send me down a dark hole of drug and alcohol abuse. probably plenty of whoring, ultimately leading to me quitting my job and leaving my wife to travel the world sampling it's delights. sorry what were we talking about again?
  2. Put Fabinho or Jimmy Corkhill there instead if you want, look at that attack,
  3. Suarez no question. ----------Alisson Trent-Gomez-Virgil-Robbo --------Naby-Hendo-------- Salah---Firmino----Mane ----------Suarez Hiya
  4. Yeah I think if we win the title there'll be a large dollop of luck involved rather than it being a case of the club pushing the boat and making sure it happens. We got away with selling Coutinho in Jan last year. Feel like we're trying to get away with going into this season 1-2 light as things stand. But again, very hard to criticise at the moment isn't it.
  5. I don't wish the lad any more misfortune or misery i just hope he leaves the team go to watch as soon as possible as he's crap and this is all a bit of a circus.
  6. even if all of the above is true (i personally find it a bit melodramatic but maybe i'm talking rubbish), i still don't really care. It doesn't really upset me that the millionaire playboy model is a bit upset for a while. his life is going to be an absolute bed of roses compared to 99% of the poor fuckers with the misfortune of inhabiting this planet.
  7. you can use wifi on aeroplane mode. just no phone calls or data.
  8. if karius is receiving genuine death threats i will happily hold my hands up and say it's a disgrace, but the reality is it'll be from some kid on twitter with his username and profile picture attached to the threat, meaning it's obviously childish nonsense. intense criticism is down to the fact he keeps throwing the ball into our net.
  9. what am I missing? he's getting a few fans ironically cheering him catching the ball, and doubtless he's receiving some nasty words and maybe even threats of physical violence from kids on insta, but surely he realises this is all nonsense? i honestly think it's all a bit silly really. he's fucking shit and people understandably have raw emotions about it because he's cost us a game we might not get to for another 15 years, just log out for a few weeks until you're playing for Koln and get on with it.
  10. I think it's gone beyond a bit of empathy, you've got whoppers like Casillas stepping in as if the lad is being mercilously bullied, dog shit left on his door step, spat at in the street. All he's getting is people posting pictures of Alisson and telling him he's shit. So what? He's a grown man.
  11. I think we'll win the league. I think that every year even when we're shit, but this time I genuinely do think we've got a chance. The niggling doubt is obviously that we've gone for Fekir so feel like we need that type of player, and then when it hasn't materialised, just left it at that. I can't knock Klopp for his signings or his insistence on waiting for the right lad if he can't get him now/at all, but there's no doubt in my mind we are one big player light in those attacking areas, and i don't see why we'd take a chance on the fitness of the front lads rather than overstocking (especially as you can write off any meaningful contributions from Lallana and Sturridge before a ball has been kicked). However, i can't really knock this manager. It's apparent by now that he knows what he's doing, i just sometimes feel we lack that bit of urgency. I want to win the league this year, not next year or three years down the line. I'm not sure how desperately the club and manager share that view.
  12. I think the outpouring of grief and sympathy for Karius is a bit much to be honest. Whilst it's obviously very unfortunate that he's fucked up beyond compare on the biggest night of his life, the fact is he fucked up. He's still a very handsomely paid man with a lifestyle we can only dream of, he'd probably shagged three models in the time between making the mistake and some poor sods trekking home from Kiev on a bus. I really don't give a shit if some children tell him he's shit under one of his glazed eyes, dreamy selfies on twitter. I hope he is sold by the club because he is fucking crap and i never have to hear about him again.
  13. don't half pick clubs to deal with us. Our last couple of signings/current targets; Southamption - hate us for constantly pillaging them. Leipzig - billy big bollocks wannabes who don't need the dough and want to flash their cock about. Aulas the arlarse Roma - determined to absolutely rinse us because we got Mo on the cheap. Chelsea - Chelsea. Atletico - Simeone in charge. I feel like we need to start buying players from nice guy mugs like we are.
  14. Think it's a very underwhelming appointment to be honest. He's obviously got a relatively impressive CV but the gap between them and the top 4-5 sides is pretty large and I don't see him being good enough to bridge it, given the squad he's inheriting is massively in-balanced and the managers above him in the league are all better than he is. Good news for us.
  15. We are going to fucking murder these. Honestly reckon this is going to be one of the most memorable nights in European Cup history. Liverpool 4-0 up in the first twenty minutes, Madrid players looking around shell shocked, 3/4 of the stadium bounding with scarfs swirling around their heads and billions of people around the world looking at their teles going 'fucking WOW'. Then we'll cling on for pens and get beat.
  16. I say all that in context of never wanting him to be Liverpool manager too. I don't think he'll ever be up to it, and I don't want to have any feelings of animosity towards him whatsoever.
  17. Good luck to him. Don't think it's as bad a job as people make out. Yeah, the league is crap, and yes, Rangers are absolutely shite, but it's a big club with a fanatical fan base playing in a big stadium. He'll get used to winning a lot of games as a manager, and who knows- if he can tempt a few Liverpool kids or decent Prem journeymen up there with him, he might win a cup or push Celtic close. Easy option would have been to avoid this like the plague, so fair play to the lad.
  18. Why will he play every game there? Khedira, Pjanic, Marchisio, Matuidi. Hardly a gang of mugs are they? He's a good player, and doubtless the move will suit him, but I'd be surprised if he starts as many league games when available as he has here.
  19. Nicknames are bad.. names. How else do you explain a dour man like Mark Selby being labelled the Jester from Leicester?
  20. Very much the latter isn't it? Without a shadow of a doubt.
  21. Is putting Gerrard on the bench till May a bad idea? I have no doubt he can't come close to Buvac in terms of insight, but if we're in Kiev, HT and looking in a dark hole, it's not going to be the worst thing having a lad who is literally the embodiment of LFC Champions Glory as a bit of a cheerleader is it? I'm typing all of this completely not convinced it isn't a stupid idea. In fact I think it probably is.
  22. Sorry to lose a valuable young international for nothing but I'd be lying if I said i'll miss him a great deal as a footballer. Solid squad player, nothing more for me. The fact he's played so much football for us is a reflection on our lack of quality there, rather than him being top class. Sure he'll do well for Juve and we will continue to make strides without him. C'est le vie.
