  1. And yet, in an interview this week, Neil Kinnock's Trotsky/Militant Witchfinder General Peter Kilfoyle stated that Momentum is nothing like the Militant influence of the 80's .He also went on to endorse Steve Rotherham as candidate for Liverpool Region Mayoral Candidate ( despite knowing he is a Corbyn supporter)
  2. I think Rotherham's open support for Corbyn probably swung it for him in the last week or so with the Local members.
  3. The wedding present- George Best Heart- Dreamboat Annie Terence Trent D'arby...The Hardline According to... Boz Scaggs- Silk Degrees The Rutles- All you need is Cash
  4. With regard to Lizzie Armistead- the headlines recently about Rio and missing drug tests sounded somewhat familiar..,
  5. A good point.I remember Duncan Ferguson and James McFadden both getting sent off for Everton for swearing at refs when playing for Everton-at a time when no other players were, but claiming victimisation before a ball has even been kicked this season is madness. And Mascheraano was rightly dismissed-he was overbearingly abusive and wouldn't get out of the ref's face.
  6. Excellent work, mate. You have made an old man very happy. My exhausted wrist thanks you
  7. Then you must not have been around in the 70's
  8. Michel Barrymore's swimming pool Kozy's bar in town
  9. In my hungover condition,I should have really said that in their day ,they were the cleverest and most innovative since The Beatles. I agree about ELO and Squeeze being excellent, by the way.
  10. Nobody seems to have mentioned or linked: Ayshea Brough Annette Andre Alexander Bastedo Francois Pascal My honourable member would be very pleased if anybody could link a few pics of these up
  11. Cracking documentary on BBC 4 last night. Great back catalogue from all members- probably the cleverest band since The Beatles. Kevin Godley came across as the kind of feller you would love to have a few pints with.
  12. May looks like Montgomery Burns older sister
  13. He can't find the time to feed his horses, yet never manages to struggle to fill his own fat face. The kind of idiot who loves playing to the old stereotype of a scouser, just to earn a few more quid. He's up there with Tarby,Cilla et al in my book as the most odious of scousers.
  14. Blair, Cameron and other world leaders have a lot to answer for-Iraq, Lybia, Syria They have fuelled the flames for fanatics/ terrorists with their actions in the above countries, and we are all paying the price for it.
  15. BBC 4 on Friday nights, plus BBC local radio alone is worth the licence fee. A pint a week for all they offer-even if they are currently up the Governments arse re-political coverage at the moment( due to the constant threat of abolition)
  16. There is one ,though-just hasn't anything in it.
  17. Tony Blair..Middle East Peace Envoy must take some beating. I can't think of anything more ridiculous Maybe Newcastle Utd Defensive Coach?
  18. With the imminent leaving/retirement of Tony Hibbert and Leon Osman, I wonder if we will ever see local lads having a full career at either Liverpool or Everton.( in the same way as you had Carragher and Gerrard) I notice that Rossiter has chosen to go to Rangers to get first team football, and from what I gather from my Liverpool supporting friends ,he seemed the most likely of your younger lads to break through. Sad if this trend continues,as I love to see local lads do well in every aspect of life. Slightly off kilter, but what were your views of both Hibbert and Osman as players,as they even seemed to split a lot of Evertonians. I actually liked them both-Hibbert as a good old fashioned ,tough tackling defender, and Osman as a progressive, good passing midfielder who scored some excellent goals in his long career. In fact,I think Osman was the first Everton player since Dixie Dean too score in fourteen successive seasons for the first team And fair play to both players, never a hint of anything off the pitch, either.
  19. Respect for that excellent analysis. It's a shame that journalists on National newspapers can't or won't put together such a well thought out piece.
  20. When they are fed a constant message from the media about "the country is full", " migrants taking up all the council housing ,and benefits etc"., and they have very few brain cells they care to use -it's inevitable the spliffed up halfwits will turn out like that. I despair for the future of this country and it's people.
  21. " So you are saying Salford City Reds are that way"
  22. Isn't that what most of the top Financial Institutions said would happen before the Brexit vote( bar the racists bit, which any sane person could see that a leave vote would result in racist nutters seeing it as a vindication of their beliefs). I honestly believe the average UK adult can't or don't want to think deeply about political issues and want the media to tell them how they should vote. My faith in my fellow countrymen has never been so low.
  23. A gang of no mark, careerists, that Corbyn gave the opportunity to join the Shadow Cabinet. Just goes to show you can't win- he gave the Blairites a chance to prove that the Shadow Cabinet was a broad church. Those scumbags couldn't spell loyalty-never mind show it.
  24. Try Wright's on Cherry Lane,Walton-just along the road from where The Clarence is/was. They supply the butchering industry, and will have a good selection.
