  1. Sorry Stig you're intervention has failed. New blood needed everywhere.
  2. We played shit that day, we are playing as well as we can today.
  3. Worst half of football in the Klopp era. Dominated by Brighton, we've been shit plenty of times in 7 years but this isn't playing shit it's being shit.
  4. I'm hearing we're heavily interested in a Japanese midfielder, Fuka Nagano, deal imminent.
  5. Make changes before its to late? Do they expect some exec to come from Barclays and find £50m behind down the back of a couch? Too late was 18 months ago, now they're just fucked and no amount of banners can save them. Moshiri will appoint Duncan Ferguson as director of security and the banners will disappear like Norwich scarves.
  6. I wouldn't take Rabiot for any of our midfield based on this.
  7. Reminds me, in that same match above I sent a lad off for refusing to come over to me. Gave him loads of final warnings, as he walking off his team mate tells me he doesn't speak English.
  8. Another victory in court for them today. Mendy not guilty.
  9. I sent off a 16 year old in a cup game earlier in the season for time wasting. They were 2 up in injury time, the 2nd ball was slow to come in all day, they have a corner and suddenly 3 balls are on the pitch. The taker strolls over to the first one, gives it a little squeeze and discards it, half way through the process of doing this on the 2nd ball I give him a yellow and he's off. Coincidentally I have the same team in the next round a couple of weeks later. Before the match the manager approached me and say he assumed I realised my mistake and didn't report that red. I told him to tell his players the cards will be flying out if they try that shit again. They didn't, they went 2 up and instead of trying to slow the game down like all schoolboy teams try to do when 2 up they kept playing and won 5 nil. I see it all the time, teams starts well, get a lead and then stop playing, it's infuriating and so bloody stupid. Why change from playing the way that got you the lead to do something you're not even good at? I've seen momentum change a thousand times because managers think they're clever. I'm not one for prematch chats with teams, they all know the drill, since the Newcastle game at Anfield I've have had a little chat with Captains on time wasting, no second chances, first time anyone tries that shit a card is coming out. It's such an easy thing to fix, in the 10 minutes I seen of Newcastle the other night I probably seen 5 yellow card offences, one was Almiron taking a corner, the linesman told him at least 5 times to take it. Why wouldn't you take the piss if the officials allow you take the piss like that? A yellow for time wasting should also come with a sin bin or indirect free kick. Martin Atkinson booking Torres for time wasting in the Gerrard slip game still gets my blood pressure up. A card so late in the game usually benefits that team because its slows it even further. An indirect free kick from 15 yards would add all sorts of excitement. Half the games would finish with one.
  10. Couldn't finish that, got distracted by this beaut. Woman sobs as she's jailed for sending messages to a dog on Facebook
  11. £100m pound building that, I know that because a cabbie told me 3 times on Sunday morning. Rusmanov owns it, I know that because he told me that 3 times too. The league are trying to get them for FFP, just the once he told me that.
  12. There is money be made knocking years on grannies hands. No point having a 40 year face and 75 year old hands.
  13. Utd have had a run of fixtures similar to the ones that led to Solksjaer getting the job. Home games against West Ham, Bournemouth and Forest and away games at Fulham and Wolves. They lost away at Villa and drew at Chelsea before that run. They have padded the stats with some very handy cup draws against Everton, Villa, Charlton and Burnley. They are improved and have momentum but they're still a poor side, City will beat them easy.
  14. I'd be in agreement with this. Southampton have never done anything to offend me. Forest 2nd just because they're not the other 2. Utd 3rd because it will just be a photo op for them and move swiftly on. Newcastle winning it will be repulsive. Open bus job, fuck that. Relatively speaking they haven't spent the levels that were expected (still the biggest spenders in the world in 2022) and will use this to shape a narrative.
  15. Nobody will tell me that goalkeeper isn't as good as Adrian and I don't even know if he has arms.
  16. If Watford or Ipswich are offering £150k over 2 years and Aston Villa are offering £300k then I say Villa every time. Might only be a 1% chance at Villa but its still only 2 or 3% at the others. If the attitude is right then the ability will decide whether they make it or not or get a 2nd chance elsewhere if it doesn't work out.
  17. I wasn't talking about mortgages, I was talking about buying houses outright for 300/400k.
  18. I would have thought the numbers were much higher than that. A 16 year old kid in the Liverpool academy will be in a position to buy a house by the time his deal is done, at that age they are still valuable prospects.
