VVD Milner Gomez -
The ref booked Murray for persistent fouling. Pogba must have given away as many fouls by now.

Rangers F.C. Appreciation Thread 2018-19

I hope he reigns it in a wee bit. Or goes completely nuts & just rants “Big Jock knew” down the camera in a Diego 1994 kind of way. -

Was thinking the same thing earlier after reading his post match comments. His superiority complex is immense. -
Not too long till the Auld Firm game. Celtic in a bit of a downer, Rangers building from a low base moving forward. The derby could be closer than you think. Celtic will still win the league mind you.

He seems to have completely gone under the radar from outside media after the weekend with Keita and Salah getting most of plaudits. I think that suits us in the short term and really hopes he has a spectacular season.

I agree, and it's pretty understandable that he would be a bit rusty. A few more weeks of training & I'm sure he'll be grand. I'd be utilising Clyne a bit more to give him a chance too.

Yesterday was the first time I've watched this fella play football. He really is excellent after all the words.

That there. -
I smell a rat, no way an actual B(l)OO would get such details about our team wrong like that. They know us better than most professional scouting departments.

Wouldn't an organisation that has a turnover of hundreds of millions of pounds, that operates in a global market place, hedge against foreign currency fluctuations? Levy's too smart not to. Blaming Brexit sounds like a good, contemporary, excuse that the locals will lap up in London.

I thought the more interesting thing was the complete disdain he had for Aberdeen. Bad holiday there as a kid? -
Kent got 20 minutes in he Aberdeen v Rangers game. Ejaria got 10 minutes or so. Didn’t do much to be honest - though Rangers played 80 minutes when 10 men.

Someone's having a real laugh - shitcoat to Utd.

Ditto, though I just went with company offering rather than looking at the law. Good luck! -

The two weeks paternity pay is full pay. It’s the shared parental leave where things get weird depending on the company policy. Some offer six months full pay, some six weeks. He can well afford to take the full year off. Be funny as fuck. -
I believe the Europa League ranking points are considerably less than the Champions League. And we’ve got two years of no European action in the five years in consideration.

Agree entirely. I’m also convinced that they didn’t even show the ref the angle that clearly showed the defender winning the ball.

The bit in bold is my worry about the use of technology in football. It creates a new schism between the top levels and lower levels. The beauty of the game is / was that it was essentially the same game from bottom division reserve leagues level to full blown elite. That's changing and I think that's not good.

How confident do you feel for next season?

I don't think we'll win the league. ManCity are still considerably better at breaking down the defensive teams based on what I've seen... if we start converting those draws in to wins in the early stages, and teams realise that attacking ManCity is the only way to get something, from them, then perhaps we have a sniff. But until I see evidence of that, I still think we're in a battle for second with whoever happens to be consistent enough. ManUtd haven't really added, but were very consistent... Jose may have a meltdown, so anything is possible there. Arsenal have a new manager, who's added some snide to the team, which is what they needed. Maybe they'll put in a strong run, but it'll take a while for it to all settle. Chelsea have a new manager, but may still lose some of their star players... hard to predict. Tottenham haven't really added to their squad, but they're a decent team, with a striker who gets lots of goals. I think it's between us, ManUtd and Spurs for second, with Arsenal probably next in line unless Chelsea gather their shit quickly. -

Of all the things he has said or done, this is the one that sticks out as the most cowardly & cuntish of the lot. It was the thing I thought that would prevent Manchester United from employing him. It would certainly prevent him from getting work in almost any other industry. -
Besiktas have signed a Chilean goalkeeper. Weren’t they meant to be in for Mig?
-
Derby have paid £8m for Waghorn? Think £20m for Ings now looks cheap.
-
How long is left on Mignolet’s contract? Appreciate he’s not to our standard, but same value as Ward seems odd.
-
Haha. Back in with the homophobia. Consistent.
